4. Installation
4.1 Pre-Installation Checks
- Ensure the installation site is level, well-drained, and provides adequate ventilation.
- Verify that the power supply matches the pump's voltage requirements (220V).
- Gather all necessary plumbing tools and materials (PVC pipes, glue, primer, clamps, etc.).
4.2 Plumbing Connections
The pump is equipped with two adapter interfaces (1.5in and 2in) for versatile compatibility. Choose the appropriate size for your pool system.

Figure 4.1: Outlet/Inlet Connection Methods
- Method 1 (PVC Pipe): Use 1.5" or 2" schedule 40 PVC pipe. Apply PVC primer and glue to the pipe and adapter for a secure, watertight seal.
- Method 2 (PVC Hose with Clamp): For flexible connections, use 1.5" or 2" PVC hose with a clamp. Ensure the hose is securely fastened to prevent leaks.
4.3 Electrical Wiring
All electrical work must be performed by a licensed electrician. The pump operates on single-phase Hot-Hot-Ground electrical systems and must be permanently connected by a circuit breaker.

Figure 4.2: Wiring Instruction Diagram
- Prepare the pump wire extension by peeling off the black cable skin to reveal the three wires inside.
- Strip each cable by approximately 2/3 inch with a wire stripper.
- Strip the insulation to reveal 1/5 inch of copper wire.
- Connect the wires: Black (Hot 110V), White (Hot 110V), Green (Ground Wire).
Important Tip: Always ensure the power is OFF at the circuit breaker before performing any wiring. Consult a professional electrician if you are unsure about any steps.
