Setup

Before first use, fully charge the DYEETIC D16 jump starter. It is recommended to charge the unit every 3 months to maintain optimal battery health, especially if stored for long periods.

Charging the Jump Starter

1. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the USB-C input port on the jump starter.
2. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a compatible USB wall adapter (not included).
3. The digital display will show the charging progress. Charge until the display indicates 100%.

Operating Instructions

Jump Starting a Vehicle

Note: Ensure the jump starter is at least 50% charged before attempting to jump start a vehicle.

1. Connect Smart Cable: Insert the smart jump cable connector firmly into the jump starter's 12V output port. The jump starter's power button should be pressed, and a blue light will illuminate on the smart cable.
2. Attach Clamps: Connect the red (+) clamp to the positive terminal of the vehicle's battery. Connect the black (-) clamp to the negative terminal of the vehicle's battery.
3. Check Indicator: Observe the indicator light on the smart cable. If it's solid green, proceed to start the vehicle. If it's flashing green or red, refer to the troubleshooting section.
4. Use BOOST Function (if needed): If the vehicle battery is completely discharged or the indicator light does not turn solid green, press and hold the 'BOOST' button on the smart cable for approximately 3 seconds until the green light turns solid.
5. Start Vehicle: Start your vehicle's engine.
6. Remove Clamps: Once the vehicle starts, safely remove the clamps from the car battery within 30 seconds. First, disconnect the black (-) clamp, then the red (+) clamp, and finally disconnect the smart cable from the jump starter.

Using as a Portable Power Bank

The D16 jump starter can charge various electronic devices:

• Connect your device's charging cable to one of the USB-A output ports (USB1: 5V/2.4A, USB2: 18W Quick Charge) or the USB-C port (18W).

Using the Emergency Flashlight

The D16 features an integrated LED flashlight with multiple modes:

1. Press and hold the flashlight button to turn on the light in normal mode.
2. Press the button again to cycle through modes: Normal > Strobe > SOS.
3. Press and hold the button again to turn off the flashlight.
