5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Earbuds and Case

Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and charging case. Place the earbuds into the charging case. Connect the USB-C cable to the charging port on the case and a power source. The LED indicator on the case will show charging status (e.g., green for 100% charged, yellow for 11-99%, red for 0-10%).

5.2 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the earbuds are charged and inside the charging case.
  2. Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode (indicated by blinking blue lights).
  3. On your device (phone, tablet, laptop), go to Bluetooth settings.
  4. Select "OpenPlay ONE Air" from the list of available devices.
  5. Once connected, a voice prompt will confirm successful pairing.

5.3 Wearing the Earbuds

The OpenPlay ONE Air earbuds feature a clip-on design that rests comfortably on the outer ear, not inside the ear canal.

  1. Gently pinch the Memory-Flex C-clip between your thumb and index finger.
  2. Rest the round speaker part on the ear's inner ridge, just in front of the ear canal (not inside).
  3. Adjust the Memory-Flex C-clip to sit comfortably and securely around your ear.
  4. Ensure the earbuds are worn on the correct side (L/R). Reversed wear may affect sound clarity.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Touch Controls

The earbuds feature intuitive touch controls for music playback, calls, and voice assistant activation. The touch control area is located on the outer surface of each earbud.

  • Music Mode:
    • Double Tap: Play/Pause
    • Triple Tap (Left): Previous Track
    • Triple Tap (Right): Next Track
    • Long Press (Left): Volume Down
    • Long Press (Right): Volume Up
  • Call Mode:
    • Double Tap: Answer/End Call
    • Long Press (2s): Reject Incoming Call
  • Standby Mode (When not playing music or in a call):
    • Triple Tap: Activate/Exit Voice Assistant

Note: Triple tap works only for skipping forward when using one earbud. Skipping back is not supported.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Gently wipe the earbuds and charging case with a soft, dry cloth. The silicone ear pads are removable and washable for easy cleaning.
  • Storage: Store the earbuds in their charging case when not in use to protect them and keep them charged. Avoid extreme temperatures.
  • Water Resistance: The earbuds are IPX5 water-resistant, meaning they can withstand splashes and sweat. Do not submerge them in water.

8. Troubleshooting

  • No Sound:
    • Ensure earbuds are charged.
    • Check Bluetooth connection on your device. Re-pair if necessary.
    • Adjust volume on both your device and the earbuds.
  • Earbuds Not Charging:
    • Ensure the charging case is charged.
    • Verify earbuds are correctly seated in the charging case.
    • Check the USB-C cable and power source for proper connection.
  • Connection Issues:
    • Move closer to your device to ensure you are within Bluetooth range.
    • Disconnect and re-pair the earbuds with your device.
    • Restart your device and try pairing again.
