Setup
1. Unpacking and Checking Contents
Carefully unpack your binoculars and verify that all accessories are present:
- Biyoso 20x Image Stabilized Binoculars
- Cotton Drawstring Bag
- Dedicated Carrying Bag
- Ergonomic Eyecups (pre-installed)
2. Adjusting Interpupillary Distance
Hold the binoculars with both hands and look through them. Adjust the distance between the two barrels by gently pushing them closer or pulling them apart until you see a single, clear circular field of view. This ensures proper alignment with your eyes.
3. Focusing
- Close your right eye and look through the left eyepiece. Rotate the central focus wheel until the image is sharp and clear.
- Close your left eye and look through the right eyepiece. Rotate the diopter adjustment ring (usually on the right eyepiece) until the image is sharp and clear.
- Now, with both eyes open, use only the central focus wheel to adjust focus for different distances. The diopter setting should remain constant for your vision.
4. Eyecup Adjustment
The binoculars feature adjustable eyecups. If you wear glasses, twist or push down the eyecups to their lowest position to ensure a full field of view. If you do not wear glasses, extend the eyecups to a comfortable position to block out peripheral light.
Operating Instructions
1. Holding the Binoculars
Hold the binoculars firmly with both hands. The compact and lightweight design allows for comfortable one-handed use, but two hands provide maximum stability.
2. Viewing and Focusing
Once the interpupillary distance and diopter are set (as described in the Setup section), simply raise the binoculars to your eyes and use the central focus wheel to bring your desired subject into sharp focus. The integrated optical and physical image stabilization will automatically work to provide a steady image, even with slight hand movements.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning Lenses
Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses to clean the objective and eyepiece lenses. Gently wipe the surface to remove dust or smudges. For stubborn marks, a small amount of lens cleaning fluid can be applied to the cloth, not directly to the lens.
2. General Cleaning
Wipe the body of the binoculars with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
3. Storage
When not in use, store the binoculars in the provided carrying bag or cotton drawstring bag. Keep them in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, high humidity, and extreme temperatures. Ensure lens caps are on to protect the lenses from dust and scratches.
4. Waterproof and Durability
These binoculars are IP68 rated, meaning they are highly resistant to water, dust, and fog. While suitable for outdoor use in various conditions, avoid prolonged submersion in water. After exposure to water, wipe the binoculars dry with a clean cloth.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Image is blurry or out of focus. | Incorrect focus adjustment, diopter not set, dirty lenses. | Adjust the central focus wheel. Set the diopter for your vision. Clean the lenses. |
| Seeing two overlapping images. | Interpupillary distance is not correctly set. | Adjust the distance between the barrels until a single circular field of view is achieved. |
| Dark or obstructed view. | Lens caps are on, eyecups not properly adjusted. | Remove lens caps. Adjust eyecups for comfortable viewing, especially if wearing glasses. |
| Image appears dim. | Low light conditions, dirty lenses. | Ensure lenses are clean. The binoculars are designed for good performance in low light, but extreme darkness will limit visibility. |
