7. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to inflate your tires:
- After connecting the compressor and hose as described in the Setup section, turn on the compressor using the power switch.
- The LCD digital display will illuminate, showing the current tire pressure.
- Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set your desired target pressure. The display allows switching between different units (e.g., PSI, Bar, KPA).
- Once the desired pressure is set, press the 'Play' button to start inflation.
- The compressor will automatically stop once the preset pressure is reached.
- After inflation, turn off the compressor, unscrew the thumb-lock adapter from the tire valve, and disconnect the power clamps from the battery.
8. Maintenance
- Regularly inspect the air hose and power cord for any signs of wear or damage. Replace if necessary.
- Keep the compressor clean and free from dust and debris.
- Store the compressor in its carrying bag in a dry, cool place when not in use.
- Allow the compressor to cool down after extended use to prolong its lifespan.
9. Troubleshooting
- Compressor not turning on: Ensure the power clamps are securely connected to the correct battery terminals and the vehicle engine is running. Check the inline fuse on the power cord.
- Slow inflation: Verify that the air hose connection to the tire valve is secure and not leaking. Ensure the vehicle engine is running to provide optimal power.
- Compressor overheats: The built-in overheat protection will automatically shut down the unit. Allow it to cool down for at least 30 minutes before resuming operation.
- Inaccurate pressure reading: Ensure the thumb-lock adapter is fully screwed onto the tire valve stem. If discrepancies persist, use a separate, calibrated tire gauge to verify pressure.
