- Assemble: Place the removable cooking pot securely into the main heating unit. Ensure it is seated correctly.
- Placement: Position the slow cooker on a stable, heat-resistant, and dry surface, away from walls and other appliances to allow for proper ventilation.
- Power: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The display will illuminate.
Operating Instructions
General Operation:
- Add ingredients to the removable cooking pot.
- Place the glass lid on the pot.
- Press the desired preset button on the control panel.
- Adjust time and temperature settings if applicable, using the +/- buttons.
- Press Start/Stop to begin cooking.
- The appliance will automatically switch to 'Keep Warm' mode after most cooking cycles are complete.
Using In-Pot Browning (Sear/Sauté):
The in-pot browning feature allows you to sear meats or sauté vegetables directly in the cooking pot before slow cooking, eliminating the need for an extra pan.
- Add a small amount of cooking oil to the removable pot.
- Select the 'Sear/Sauté' preset.
- Allow the pot to preheat.
- Add ingredients and brown as desired.
- Once browning is complete, press Start/Stop to cancel the 'Sear/Sauté' function.
- Proceed with adding other ingredients and selecting a slow cook or other desired preset.

Using the Steamer Function:
To steam food, use the included stainless steel steamer rack.
- Add approximately 1-2 cups of water or broth to the bottom of the removable cooking pot.
- Place the steamer rack into the pot, ensuring it is above the liquid level.
- Arrange food on the steamer rack.
- Place the lid on the pot.
- Select the 'Steam' preset and adjust time as needed.
- Press Start/Stop to begin steaming.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Proper cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and performance of your slow cooker.
Removable Pot and Lid:
- Always allow the pot and lid to cool completely before cleaning.
- The removable cooking pot and glass lid are dishwasher safe. For best results and to preserve the nonstick coating, hand washing with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge is recommended.
- Do not use steel wool, abrasive cleaners, or harsh detergents on the nonstick surface.
- For stubborn food residue, soak the pot in warm, soapy water for a period before cleaning.
