3. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for storage or transport.
- Placement: Place the slicer on a flat, stable, and dry countertop. Ensure the suction feet are firmly attached to the surface to prevent movement.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean all detachable parts (blade, carriage tray, food pusher, slider extension) with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- Blade Installation: Ensure the correct blade is securely installed. The slicer comes with two serrated blades. To install, align the blade with the motor shaft and twist the central knob clockwise until it locks into place.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Preparing Food for Slicing:
- For best results with meat, partially freeze it for 1 hour (approximately 3-4°C) before slicing. This helps maintain shape and ensures uniform thickness.
- For frozen meat, thaw for 20-30 minutes until the surface ice melts and it is pressable with fingers. Avoid slicing when too hard for uniform thickness.
- Ensure food items fit securely on the carriage tray and under the food pusher.

4.2 Slicing Procedure:
- Place Food: Position the food item securely on the carriage tray, ensuring it is stable against the food pusher.
- Adjust Thickness: Rotate the thickness adjustment knob to select your desired slice thickness (0-15mm). Turning right for thicker slices and left for thinner slices.
- Activate Slicer: Unlock the security lock and press the power switch simultaneously to start the motor.
- Slice Food: Gently press the food item against the blade using the food pusher and slide the carriage tray back and forth. Maintain steady pressure for uniform slices.
- Finish Slicing: Once slicing is complete, turn off the power switch and engage the security lock. Unplug the unit.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your slicer. Always unplug the slicer before cleaning.
5.1 Disassembly for Cleaning:
- Remove Food Pusher and Slider Extension: Gently pull these components off the carriage tray.
- Remove Carriage Tray: Slide the carriage tray off the unit.
- Remove Blade: Carefully twist the central knob on the blade counter-clockwise to unlock it, then remove the blade. Exercise extreme caution as the blade is very sharp.

5.2 Cleaning Steps:
- Hand Wash: Wash all detachable parts (blade, carriage tray, food pusher, slider extension) with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Wipe Down: Use a damp cloth to wipe down the main body of the slicer. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
- Dry Completely: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing the slicer.

5.3 Storage:

- Check if the blade is clean and free from debris that might obstruct smooth cutting.
- Slicer Jams:
- Reduce the pressure applied to the food pusher.
