Safety Information

Always keep hands and body parts clear of the foldable drop leaf countertop when extending or retracting it to prevent pinching. Utilize the locking mechanisms on the wheels to secure the island when it is stationary or during food preparation to prevent unintended movement. Setup and Assembly

Your kitchen island will arrive in two separate parcels, which may not be delivered simultaneously. Please ensure you have received both packages before beginning assembly. All necessary tools and an instruction manual with clearly marked parts (by letter or number) are included in the packaging.

It is recommended to have an electric screwdriver for easier assembly. Organizing components into labeled containers can help prevent missing parts during the process. While the instructions are pictorial, they are designed to be easy to follow. Two people may be helpful for managing heavier sections during assembly.

Operating Instructions

Foldable Drop Leaf Countertop

The island features a foldable drop leaf countertop to expand your workspace. To extend, carefully lift the leaf until it is level with the main countertop and secure it using the supporting metal brackets underneath. To fold, release the brackets and gently lower the leaf. The countertop width expands from 17.7 inches to 27.5 inches when unfolded.

Built-in Charging Station

The island is equipped with a built-in charging station featuring 2 AC outlets (120V/12A) and 2 USB ports (5V/2A). Use these to power kitchen appliances or charge mobile devices. The power cord is 4.9 feet long.

Mobility and Stability

The island is fitted with five heavy-duty rolling casters for easy movement. Two of these casters include locking mechanisms. To stabilize the island, press down on the locking levers of the two lockable wheels. To move the island, release the locking levers.

Storage Features

• Trash Can Storage: A dedicated compartment is designed to hold a 10-gallon trash bin. The maximum suitable trash can dimensions are 25.35" H x 14.37" W x 11.3" L. The trash can is not included.
• Drawers: Four drawers provide organized storage for utensils, cutlery, and other kitchen essentials.
• Cabinets and Shelves: The island includes a two-door cabinet with an adjustable shelf and side open shelves for flexible storage of various items.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that may damage the finish. For the rubberwood countertop, use a mild wood cleaner if necessary, and dry immediately.

Wood Surface Care

To protect the solid wood countertop, avoid placing sharp objects directly on its surface. Refrain from leaving hot cookware or appliances on the counter for extended periods, as wood is sensitive to heat and may mark. Use trivets or protective pads under hot items.

Troubleshooting

• Parts Alignment Issues: If you encounter difficulties with parts aligning during assembly, double-check the orientation of each piece against the pictorial instructions. Sometimes, flipping a board can resolve alignment problems.
• Casters Not Locking Securely: Ensure the locking levers on the two designated casters are fully engaged. If the island still moves slightly, verify that the casters are installed correctly and consider placing rubber anti-skid pads under the non-locking wheels for added stability.
• Drawers Not Sliding Smoothly: Check that the drawer slides are installed correctly and are free from obstructions. Ensure all screws are tightened appropriately but not overtightened.
