Installation
The addlon 20-inch Outdoor Ceiling Fan offers versatile installation options: ceiling-mounted with a hook or wall-mounted with a bracket. Choose the method that best suits your needs.

Figure 2: Easy and Versatile Installation Overview. This diagram illustrates the components used for both ceiling and wall mounting, including the circular hanging plate, load hook, downrod, and the main fan unit.
Ceiling Mount Installation
- Prepare the Downrod: Pull out the pins at each end of the downrod. Insert the downrod into the coupling on the fan unit, then re-insert the pin and pin holder. Tighten the two screws on the downrod to secure it.
- Install Hanging Plate: According to your ceiling type, choose appropriate screws to fix the circular hanging plate securely to the ceiling.
- Hang the Fan: Carefully lift the fan unit and hang it on the circular hanging plate using the load hook.
- Adjust Angle: Loosen the triangle hand screw on the fan's frame, adjust the fan to the desired angle, and then tighten the screw firmly.
- Secure Power Cord: Fix the power cord along the ceiling or wall as needed using the provided clips.
Wall Mount Installation
- Install Wall Bracket: Place the triangular iron frame (wall bracket) on the desired wall location. Mark the screw holes. Drill pilot holes and secure the bracket to the wall using the corresponding screws and anchors. Ensure the bracket is firmly attached.
- Prepare the Downrod: Similar to ceiling mount, prepare the downrod by inserting it into the coupling and securing it with pins and screws.
- Hang the Fan: Hang the fan unit onto the wall bracket's hook.
- Adjust Angle: Loosen the triangle hand screw, adjust the fan to the desired angle, and then tighten the screw.
- Secure Power Cord: Fix the power cord along the wall as needed using the provided clips.
