4. Setup

Before first use, ensure all packaging materials are removed. Place the vacuum sealer on a flat, stable surface.

4.1 Preparing Vacuum Bags

  1. Open the lid of the vacuum sealer.
  2. If using a bag roll, pull the desired length of bag material from the built-in storage.
  3. Use the built-in cutter to cut the bag to your desired size. Ensure enough space is left for sealing and food expansion.
  4. Place one end of the cut bag into the sealing area and press the 'MANUAL SEAL' button to create the bottom seal.
  5. Allow the bag to cool slightly before filling.

5. Operating Instructions

The MZROT 618 offers various modes to suit different food types and preservation needs.

5.1 Basic Vacuum Sealing

  1. Place the food item into the prepared vacuum bag, ensuring the open end is clean and dry.
  2. Open the vacuum sealer lid and place the open end of the bag into the vacuum chamber, ensuring it is flat and extends past the sealing bar. Use the bag positioning clamp to secure it.
  3. Close the lid firmly until it latches.
  4. Select the appropriate mode based on your food type:
    • Dry Mode: For dry foods like nuts, grains, or crackers.
    • Moist Mode: For moist foods like raw meat, fish, or fruits. Consider using 'Double Seal' for extra security.
    • Damp Mode: For delicate or slightly moist items where less vacuum pressure is desired.
    • Pulse Mode: Allows manual control over the vacuum process, ideal for delicate items to prevent crushing. Press and hold to vacuum, release to stop.
  5. Press the 'Vac&Seal' button to start the automatic vacuuming and sealing process. The progress will be displayed on the screen.
  6. Once complete, the machine will release the lid. Carefully remove the sealed bag.

5.2 External Vacuum Function (Canister Mode)

This function allows you to vacuum seal external canisters or containers.

  1. Insert the smaller end of the vacuum hose into the accessory port on the side of the vacuum sealer.
  2. Connect the other end of the hose to the vacuum port on your compatible canister.
  3. Select 'Canister' mode on the control panel.
  4. Press the 'Enter' button to start the external vacuum process.
  5. Once vacuuming is complete, disconnect the hose from both the sealer and the canister.
