Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off and Variable Speed Control
- To start the tool, press the trigger switch. The integrated LED light will illuminate when the trigger is pressed.
- The tool features variable speed control. The further the trigger is pressed, the faster the tool operates, up to 900 RPM.
- To stop the tool, release the trigger switch.
2. Forward/Reverse Rotation
The forward/reverse button (refer to Figure 2) controls the direction of rotation.
- Push the button to the left for forward rotation (for drilling and driving screws).
- Push the button to the right for reverse rotation (for removing screws or freeing jammed drill bits).
- Position the button in the center to lock the trigger and prevent accidental starting.
3. Drilling and Driving
- For Drilling: Select the appropriate drill bit for the material (wood, metal, or masonry). For masonry, ensure the impact function is engaged (if applicable, typically a collar setting). Apply steady, even pressure.
- For Driving Screws: Select the correct screwdriver bit. Start at a low speed and gradually increase as the screw engages. Use the clutch setting (if available, not explicitly mentioned but common) to prevent over-driving.
