3. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your UCOCARE A70 Solar Security Camera System:

3.1. Base Station Connection

1. Connect the Base Station to power using the included 12V/2A power adapter.
2. Connect the Base Station to your router using the Ethernet cable.
3. Wait approximately 1 minute until the indicator light on the Base Station turns from red to blue, indicating it's powered on and connected.

3.2. Camera Power On

1. Locate the power button on the bottom of each camera.
2. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds until you hear a startup voice prompt and the blue light turns on. If the camera does not power on, ensure it is charged.

3.3. App Installation and Pairing

1. Download and install the KooCam app on your smartphone.
2. Open the KooCam app and tap the '+' icon in the upper right corner of the homepage. Select 'Scan to add'.
3. Authorize camera access when prompted.
4. Scan the QR code located at the bottom of the Base Station.
5. Select 'Camera Kit' from the device list.
6. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your phone to the same Wi-Fi network as the router connected to the Base Station.
7. Press and hold the SYNC button on the back of the Base Station for 3 seconds until the blue LED blinks, indicating pairing mode.
8. Once the Base Station is paired, the app will guide you to pair the cameras. Press the power button on each camera twice quickly until a prompt tone sounds and the blue LED blinks, indicating pairing mode.
9. Select the Base Station in the app and confirm. The app will then bind the cameras to the Base Station.
10. Once successfully added, you can set a device name for each camera.
