Setup

1. Battery Installation

The Lancer Tactical Gen 2 SD M4 uses a 9.6V Nunchuck battery, typically stored in the rifle's retractable stock.

  1. Retract the stock fully to access the battery compartment.
  2. Carefully connect the battery to the rifle's wiring harness. Ensure the connectors are fully seated.
  3. Gently tuck the battery and wires into the stock compartment.

2. Charging the Battery

Use the included charger to power your 9.6V Nunchuck battery. The charger features an automatic power shutdown once the battery is fully charged.

  • Connect the battery to the charger.
  • Plug the charger into a suitable power outlet.
  • Monitor the charging indicator (if present) and disconnect once charging is complete.

3. Magazine Loading

The rifle comes with a high-capacity magazine that accommodates up to 300 rounds of 0.20g-0.28g BBs.

  1. Open the BB loading port on the top of the magazine.
  2. Pour BBs into the magazine.
  3. Wind the wheel at the bottom of the magazine until BBs are visible in the feeding tube.
  4. Insert the loaded magazine firmly into the rifle's magazine well until it clicks into place. Ensure it is securely seated to prevent misfeeds.

4. Attaching Accessories

The rifle features a full-length 20mm Free Float Modular Rail Interface System and an upper Picatinny/Weaver style rail for optics and other accessories.

  • Red Dot Sight: Mount the red dot sight onto the upper Picatinny rail. Secure it using the integrated mounting mechanism.
  • Foregrip: Attach the foregrip to the lower section of the modular rail system.

Operating

1. Firing Modes

The rifle features a fire selector switch with three positions:

  • SAFE: Engages the safety mechanism, preventing the rifle from firing. Always set to SAFE when not actively shooting.
