4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Starting the Engine (Quick Start Technology)

2. Set the Engine ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position.
3. Press the primer bulb several times until fuel is visible in the return line.
4. Pull the choke control out to the 'FULL CHOKE' position (for cold starts).
5. Hold the chainsaw firmly with one hand on the front handle and pull the starting cord with the other hand until the engine briefly fires (usually 1-3 pulls).
6. Push the choke control halfway in (to 'HALF CHOKE' or 'RUN' position, depending on model).
7. Pull the starting cord again until the engine starts and runs smoothly.
8. Once the engine is running, push the choke control fully in. Allow the engine to warm up for a few moments before disengaging the chain brake and beginning work.

4.2 Cutting Techniques

Always maintain a secure grip with both hands. Stand with your feet apart for balance. Plan your cuts to avoid kickback and ensure the log or branch is stable.
