4. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your Uwant Y100S cleaner and prepare it for use.

4.1 Attaching the Handle and Brush Head

1. Connect the handle to the main unit until you hear a "click," indicating a secure installation.
2. Attach the desired brush head to the handle. Ensure it clicks into place.

4.2 Filling the Water Tanks

The unit features integrated clean and dirty water tanks, each with a 1.2L capacity.

1. Lift the water tank assembly vertically from the main unit.
2. Open the lid of the water tank.
3. Locate the water inlet opening. Fill the clean water compartment with room temperature water. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
4. If using cleaning solution, add it to the clean water tank according to the dilution ratio (e.g., 1ml solution per 30ml water). Excessive solution can cause excessive foam.
5. Ensure the sealing gasket is correctly placed to prevent aspiration issues.
6. Close the tank lid securely and reinsert the tank vertically into the main unit, aligning it with the unit's slot.

5. Operating Modes

The Uwant Y100S offers three cleaning modes: Cold Water, Hot Water, and Steam. Select the appropriate mode based on the material and stain type.

5.1 Cold Water Mode

Ideal for daily cleaning, removing dust, pet hair, and non-greasy fresh stains. Safe for all textiles, preventing shrinkage and fading.

5.2 Hot Water Mode (65°C)

Activates in 10 seconds. Hot water accelerates the decomposition of tough stains like grease, coffee, and pet urine. Effective for deep cleaning in pet and child areas.

5.3 Steam Mode (100°C)

Activates in 30 seconds. High-temperature steam provides 99.9% disinfection, eliminating bacteria and mites. Ideal for sterilizing mattresses, sofas, pet cushions, kitchen countertops, tile grout, and glass.

Caution: High-temperature steam can cause burns. Operate with extreme care and avoid direct contact with skin.

6. Using the Attachments

The Uwant Y100S comes with a variety of interchangeable brush heads to suit different cleaning needs and surfaces.

6.1 2-in-1 Brush Heads (Standard & Wide)

• Bristle Side: For deep cleaning and scrubbing stubborn dirt on durable fabrics like carpets and upholstery.
• Silicone Side: Gentle cleaning for delicate textiles such as silk and leather, preventing fiber entanglement.
• To switch between sides, press the tabs at the base of the brush plate and flip it over.

6.2 Steam-Specific Brushes

• Round Steam Brush: Ideal for general steam cleaning and disinfection of larger surfaces.
• Crevice Steam Brush: Designed to reach tight spaces and corners, effectively cleaning areas where bacteria can easily proliferate.

6.3 Shoe Cleaning Brush

Use the dedicated shoe cleaning brush for deep cleaning footwear, ensuring quick drying and lasting freshness.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Uwant Y100S cleaner.

7.1 Self-Cleaning Function

The unit features a one-touch self-cleaning function for the hose and internal components, preventing blockages and odors.

1. After use, attach the self-cleaning cap to the handle.
2. Press the spray button to flush clean water through the hose, cleaning internal tubes.
3. Once self-cleaning is complete, turn the mode dial to standby.

7.2 Emptying and Cleaning the Dirty Water Tank

1. Remove the water tank assembly from the main unit.
2. Open the lid and carefully pour out the dirty water. Ensure the residual water level does not exceed the MAX fill line on the dirty water side.
3. Rinse the dirty water tank and its lid thoroughly with clean water. Wipe dry before reassembling.

8. Storage

The compact design of the Uwant Y100S allows for easy storage in cabinets or small spaces.

1. After cleaning and ensuring all components are dry, reattach the water tank vertically and press firmly to secure it.
2. Wrap the power cord around the main unit and secure it with the Velcro strap on the transport handle.
3. Store the unit in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight.
