4. Controls and Indicators

Top Panel Buttons:

5. Setup
5.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the MD-W7 speaker. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the charging port on the back of the speaker and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port. The battery icon on the display will indicate charging status and will be full when charging is complete.
5.2 Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (usually integrated with the Mode button or a dedicated button) for a few seconds until the display lights up.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button again for a few seconds until the display turns off.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Setting the Time
- Press the Time Set button. The hour digits will start flashing.
- Rotate the Rotary Knob to adjust the hour.
- Press the Rotary Knob to confirm the hour. The minute digits will start flashing.
- Rotate the Rotary Knob to adjust the minutes.
- Press the Rotary Knob to confirm the minutes and exit time setting mode.
6.2 Setting Alarms (Alarm 1 & Alarm 2)
- Press the Alarm Set button. The Alarm 1 icon and hour digits will flash.
- Rotate the Rotary Knob to adjust the hour for Alarm 1.
- Press the Rotary Knob to confirm. The minute digits will flash.
- Rotate the Rotary Knob to adjust the minutes for Alarm 1.
- Press the Rotary Knob to confirm. The alarm source (e.g., FM, USB, or a default tone) may flash. Rotate the knob to select the desired alarm sound.
- Press the Rotary Knob to confirm. Alarm 1 is now set.
- To set Alarm 2, press the Alarm Set button again. The Alarm 2 icon and hour digits will flash. Repeat steps 2-6 for Alarm 2.
- To turn an alarm on or off, short press the Alarm Set button repeatedly until the desired alarm icon appears/disappears.
6.3 Bluetooth Mode
- Turn on the speaker. Press the Mode button until the Bluetooth icon flashes on the display.
- Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
- Search for available Bluetooth devices and select "MD-W7" from the list.
- Once connected, the Bluetooth icon will become solid, and you can play audio from your device.
- Use the Play/Pause, Next/Volume Up, and Previous/Volume Down buttons to control playback.
6.4 AUX Mode
- Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX port on the speaker and the other end to the audio output of your external device.
- Press the Mode button until the speaker enters AUX mode.
- Play audio from your external device. Volume can be adjusted on both the speaker and your external device.
6.5 USB Playback Mode
- Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the USB port on the speaker.
- Press the Mode button until the speaker enters USB mode. The USB icon will appear.
- The speaker will automatically start playing audio files from the USB drive.
- Use the Play/Pause, Next/Volume Up, and Previous/Volume Down buttons to control playback.
6.6 FM Radio Mode
- Press the Mode button until the speaker enters FM radio mode. The FM icon will appear.
- Auto Scan: Long press the Play/Pause button to automatically scan and save available FM stations. The speaker will store stations with strong signals.
- Manual Tuning: Short press the Next/Volume Up or Previous/Volume Down buttons to switch between saved stations.
- Fine Tuning: In FM mode, long press the Next/Volume Up or Previous/Volume Down buttons to manually fine-tune the frequency.
6.7 Temperature Display
The MD-W7 automatically displays the ambient temperature on its screen. No specific action is required to activate this feature.
7. Charging the Device
When the battery is low, the battery icon on the display will flash or indicate a low level. Connect the speaker to a USB power source using the provided charging cable. The battery icon will show charging progress and will become solid when fully charged. A full charge typically takes a few hours.
