2. Safety Information

Your safety is paramount. Always adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Always wear a helmet and appropriate protective gear (knee pads, elbow pads) when riding.
  • Ensure all screws and quick releases are securely tightened before each ride.
  • Do not exceed the maximum weight limit of 155 lbs (70 kg).
  • Recommended user age is 8 years and above.
  • Familiarize yourself with local traffic laws and regulations regarding electric scooters.
  • Avoid riding in wet conditions, on uneven surfaces, or at night without proper lighting.
  • Maintain a safe distance from other riders and pedestrians.
  • Regularly check the brakes for proper function.

3. Package Contents

Upon opening the box, you should find the following items:

  • Electric Scooter Body
  • Front Wheel
  • Seat
  • Installation Accessories Kit (includes charger, installation tools, mounting screws)
  • Basket Accessory Installation Kit (includes phone holder)

4. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your VOLPAM C003 Electric Scooter:

4.1. Handlebar Installation

  1. Carefully remove all packaging materials from the handlebar and scooter body.
  2. Lift the scooter's folding pole to an upright position.
  3. Insert the handlebar fixing rod into the scooter's folding rod.
  4. Tighten the rod clamp and snap it securely into place.

4.2. Front Wheel and Front Fender Installation

  1. Locate the hexagon wrench from the installation tools.
  2. Remove the pre-installed headlight from the front wheel bracket.
  3. Remove the front wheel fender that is temporarily fixed to the rear wheel.
  4. Using the headlight mounting screws, install the fender and headlight together onto the front wheel bracket. Tighten the mounting screws.
  5. Find two wrenches from the installation tools.
  6. Remove the shaft from the front wheel bracket.
  7. Gather the shaft and all screws. Install the left screws onto the shaft in the correct order, ensuring the collar is on each side.
  8. Pass the axle through the front wheel bearing hole.
  9. On the right side, screw in the screws in order.
  10. Raise the front wheel stand. Snap the front wheel onto the front wheel bracket.
  11. Insert the limit washers on both sides into the limit holes.
  12. Use two wrenches to tighten the screws on both sides of the front wheel securely.

4.3. Taillight and Basket Installation

  1. Open the basket installation kit and take out the phone holder and basket.
  2. Choose the correct hex key.
  3. Remove the temporarily installed taillight from the scooter frame.
  4. Turn the taillight around and install it on the taillight bracket. Tighten the taillight mounting screws.
  5. Remove the temporary basket screws from the frame.
  6. Align the basket mounting holes with the frame mounting holes.
  7. Screw the four mounting screws into the mounting holes. Do not tighten the screws directly. Instead, tighten each screw alternately in a diagonal pattern to ensure even pressure.
  8. Find the four nuts and screw them onto the screws. Tighten each nut with a wrench.

4.4. Seat Installation

  1. Find the seat and unpack it.
  2. Insert the seat rod into the seat mounting hole on the scooter frame.
  3. Tighten the seat mounting clip fixing screws.
  4. Lock the clamp to secure the seat in place.

4.5. Phone Holder Installation

  1. Find the phone holder and the mounting screwdriver.
  2. Loosen the phone holder mounting screws.
  3. Clip the phone holder onto the handlebar in a suitable position.
  4. Screw in the phone holder mounting screws and tighten them securely.

5. Operating Instructions

Familiarize yourself with the scooter's controls and functions:

  • Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn the scooter on or off.
  • Acceleration: Press the accelerator on the right side of the handlebar to engage the motor and begin moving.
  • Speed Modes: The scooter offers three speed modes: 3 mph (Beginner), 6 mph (Intermediate), and 9 mph (Expert/Challenging). Select the appropriate mode based on rider skill and environment.
  • Braking System: The scooter features a dual brake system, including an electronic brake and a foot brake on the rear wheel, for effective stopping.
  • Headlight: Use the headlight switch to turn on the front light for visibility.
  • Turn Signal: Activate the turn signal for indicating turns.
  • Horn: Use the horn to alert others of your presence.
  • LED Display: The integrated LED display shows current speed, battery level, and selected speed mode.
