4. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the furnace from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage. Retain packaging for future transport if needed.
- Placement: Choose a stable, level, heat-resistant, and non-combustible surface for the furnace. Ensure adequate clearance around the unit for ventilation (at least 6 inches from walls or other equipment). The area must be well-ventilated to prevent heat buildup and safely exhaust any fumes.
- Power Connection: Connect the furnace's power cord to a grounded 110V AC outlet. Verify that the outlet can supply the required 2000W (18A) to prevent circuit overload.
- Initial Inspection: Before first use, visually inspect the internal furnace chamber, heating elements, and thermocouple for any obstructions or damage. Ensure the safety door latch operates smoothly.

5. Operating Instructions
- Power On: Ensure the furnace is properly set up and connected to power. Flip the main power switch (usually red, located on the front panel) to the 'ON' position. The digital control panel will illuminate.
- Set Temperature: Use the digital control panel to set your desired operating temperature. Refer to the controller's specific instructions for detailed programming, typically involving 'SET' buttons and arrow keys to adjust values. The furnace can reach up to 1100°C.
- Preheating (Optional): For some applications, preheating the furnace to a lower temperature before loading materials may be beneficial.
- Loading Materials: Wearing heat-resistant gloves, carefully open the furnace door using the handle. Place your materials inside the furnace chamber. Ensure materials are placed on appropriate heat-resistant crucibles or trays and do not obstruct the thermocouple or heating elements. Close the door securely, engaging the safety latch.
- Heating Cycle: The furnace will begin heating to the set temperature. Monitor the digital display for current temperature readings. The heating process is efficient, reaching target temperatures quickly.
- Monitoring: Periodically monitor the furnace during operation. Do not leave the furnace unattended for extended periods, especially during initial runs.
- Cool-Down and Unloading: Once the heating cycle is complete, turn off the main power switch. Allow the furnace to cool down significantly before opening the door. Opening the door at very high temperatures can cause thermal shock to the heating elements and expose the operator to extreme heat. Once cooled to a safe handling temperature, wearing heat-resistant gloves, carefully open the door and remove your processed materials.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your furnace. Always disconnect the furnace from the power supply before performing any maintenance.
- Exterior Cleaning: Clean the exterior casing with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the electrostatic spray coating.
- Interior Cleaning: After the furnace has completely cooled, carefully remove any debris or residue from the furnace chamber. Use a soft brush or vacuum. Avoid damaging the heating elements or insulation.
- Heating Element Inspection: Periodically inspect the aluminum alloy heating wires for signs of damage, corrosion, or breakage. If damage is observed, contact customer support for replacement parts.
- Thermocouple Check: Ensure the chromium-nickel temperature measuring element (thermocouple) is intact and properly positioned. A damaged or misplaced thermocouple can lead to inaccurate temperature readings.
- Fuse Replacement: The furnace includes two spare fuses. If the furnace fails to power on or experiences electrical issues, check the fuse located near the power inlet. Replace with a fuse of the same rating if blown.
- Ventilation Ports: Ensure the radiator system's vents are clear of dust and obstructions to maintain proper heat dissipation.
