1. Important Safeguards

  • The ceramic pot is designed for use with this appliance only. It must never be used on a stovetop or in an oven.
  • Do not place a hot ceramic pot on a cold surface.

3. Setup and First Use

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and promotional labels from the slow cooker.
  2. Cleaning: Before first use, wash the ceramic pot and tempered glass lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the exterior of the base unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base unit in water.
  3. Placement: Place the slow cooker on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, away from walls and other appliances to ensure proper ventilation.
  4. Assembly: Place the clean ceramic pot into the base unit.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 General Operation

  1. Prepare your ingredients and place them into the ceramic pot.
  2. Place the lid on the ceramic pot.
  3. Plug the slow cooker into a 120V AC electrical outlet. The digital display will show "OFF".
  4. Press the Mode button to select your desired cooking temperature: LOW, HIGH, or WARM. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
  5. Use the + and - buttons to set the cooking time. The timer can be set from 30 minutes to 12 hours in 30-minute increments.
  6. The slow cooker will automatically begin cooking after the time is set. The display will count down the remaining cooking time.
  7. Once the cooking time is complete, the slow cooker will automatically switch to WARM mode for up to 4 hours. The display will show "0:00" and then count up the time spent in WARM mode.
  8. To cancel cooking at any time, press the Cancel/Annuler button.
  9. Always unplug the slow cooker from the outlet after use.

4.2 Temperature Settings

  • LOW: Ideal for longer cooking times, typically 6-8 hours.
  • HIGH: For faster cooking, typically 3-4 hours.
  • WARM: Automatically activates after cooking is complete to keep food at a serving temperature. Do not use WARM mode for cooking raw food.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance

Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and performance of your slow cooker.

  1. Always unplug the slow cooker and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Ceramic Pot and Glass Lid: These are dishwasher-safe. Alternatively, wash them in warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that may scratch surfaces.
  3. Base Unit: Wipe the exterior of the base unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the base unit in water or any other liquid.
  4. Storage: Store the assembled slow cooker in a dry place.

6. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Slow cooker does not turn on. Not plugged in; power outlet not working; unit malfunction. Ensure the unit is securely plugged into a working outlet. Check household circuit breaker. If problem persists, contact customer support.
Food is not cooking properly. Incorrect temperature setting; lid not sealed properly; insufficient cooking time. Verify the temperature setting (LOW/HIGH) is appropriate for the recipe. Ensure the lid is seated correctly. Adjust cooking time as needed. Avoid lifting the lid frequently.
Food is burning on the bottom. Too little liquid; cooking on HIGH for too long. Ensure adequate liquid is used in the recipe. Consider using the LOW setting for longer cooking durations. Stir ingredients if possible.
Digital display shows "OFF". Unit is plugged in but not yet programmed. Press the Mode button to select a cooking setting and then set the timer.
