5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Vexilar V10Pro.

5.1 Emptying the Dustbin

1. Ensure the vacuum is turned off.
2. Press the dustbin release button to detach it from the main unit.
3. Hold the dustbin over a trash can and press the bottom release latch to open the lid and empty the contents.
4. Close the dustbin lid and reattach it to the main unit until it clicks.

5.2 Cleaning the Filters

The V10Pro features a 5-stage cyclonic filtration system, including a HEPA filter. Clean filters regularly to maintain suction power.

1. Turn off the vacuum and remove the dustbin.
2. Twist and pull out the filter assembly from the dustbin.
3. Separate the HEPA filter and other filter components.
4. Tap off loose dirt from all filter parts. Rinse the washable filters under cold running water until the water runs clear. Do not wash the HEPA filter unless specified in the product manual.
5. Allow all washed filter parts to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reassembling and placing them back into the dustbin.

5.3 Cleaning the Brush Roll

1. Ensure the vacuum is turned off and disconnected from the telescopic tube.

4. Reinsert the brush roll and secure the access latch.
