2. Important Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:

- To protect against electrical hazards, do not immerse the kettle, power cord, or plug in water or other liquids.

- Ensure the lid is securely closed during operation to prevent hot water from splashing.
- The kettle features Boil Dry Protection and Automatic Shut-Off for safety. It will automatically turn off after 5 minutes and 30 seconds if left unattended or if there is insufficient water.

4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove the kettle from its packaging.
- Remove any protective films or stickers.
- Inspect the kettle for any damage. Do not use if damaged.
4.2 First Use Cleaning
Before first use, it is recommended to clean the kettle:
- Fill the kettle with water up to the MAX line.
- Boil the water (refer to Operating Instructions).
- Discard the boiled water.
- Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
4.3 Connecting the Power Cord
- Open the concealed power cord compartment at the base of the kettle.
- Unwind the required length of the ISI Marked power cable.
- Ensure the kettle is placed on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable 220V electrical outlet. The kettle is compatible with 110V-220V, but a travel adapter may be required for different country plugs.
5. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to safely operate your XECH Hydroboil Mini Kettle:
- Fill the Kettle: Open the lid and fill the kettle with fresh water. Do not fill below the MIN mark or above the MAX mark (300ml capacity). Overfilling may cause boiling water to spill out.
- Close the Lid: Ensure the lid is securely closed. The silicone pressure release valve allows for safe boiling with the lid on.
- Connect Power: Plug the kettle into a power outlet.
- Start Boiling: Press the one-button operation switch located on the front of the kettle. The LED indicator light will illuminate, signifying that the kettle is in operation.
- Boiling Process: The powerful 300W heating element will rapidly boil the water within 2-3 minutes. Steam will be released from the pressure valve at approximately the 3-minute mark.
- Automatic Shut-Off: The kettle will automatically turn off once the water has boiled or after 5 minutes and 30 seconds if left unattended. The LED indicator light will turn off.
- Pouring: Carefully pour the hot water. The kettle features a heat-resistant handle for safe pouring.
- Unplug: After use, unplug the kettle from the power outlet.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and hygiene of your kettle.
6.1 General Cleaning
- Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Hand Wash Only: The kettle is designed for hand washing. Do not immerse the electrical parts (base, power cord) in water.
- Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Rinse the interior with clean water.
- Ensure all parts are thoroughly dry before storing or next use.
6.2 Descaling
Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. This can affect performance. Descale regularly:
- Fill the kettle with a mixture of one part white vinegar and two parts water, or use a commercial descaling solution according to its instructions.
- Let the solution soak for at least 30 minutes, or boil it if recommended by the descaling solution.
- Discard the solution and rinse the kettle thoroughly several times with fresh water to remove any residue and odor.
6.3 Storing the Power Cord
After use and cleaning, the power cord can be neatly stored in its dedicated compartment at the base of the kettle for portability and tidiness.
