6. Setup and Installation

6.1 Wiring Diagram

WARNING: Ensure the main power supply is turned OFF at the circuit breaker before performing any wiring. Incorrect wiring can cause electric shock or damage to the device.

  1. Identify the Live (L) and Neutral (N) wires from your main power supply.
  2. Connect the Live wire to the 'L' input terminal on the smart switch module.
  3. Connect the Neutral wire to any 'N' input terminal on the smart switch module.
  4. For each channel (L1, L2, L3, L4), connect the Live wire of your appliance/light to the corresponding 'Out L1', 'Out L2', 'Out L3', or 'Out L4' terminal.
  5. Connect the Neutral wire of your appliance/light to the remaining 'N' input terminals. Ensure all Neutral wires are connected to the common Neutral line.
  6. Secure all wire connections firmly.

Refer to the markings on the device for precise terminal identification.

6.2 Device Pairing (Wi-Fi)

To control the module via Wi-Fi, you need to pair it with the compatible smart home application (e.g., eWeLink app, if compatible with Sonoff devices as implied by the product description).

  1. Download and install the appropriate smart home app on your smartphone.
  2. Register an account and log in.
  3. Power on the smart switch module. The Wi-Fi indicator LED should start blinking (refer to app instructions for specific blinking patterns for pairing mode).
  4. In the app, select "Add Device" or the '+' icon.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the device to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. You may need to enter your Wi-Fi password.

7. Operating Instructions

7.1 Manual Control

Each channel (L1, L2, L3, L4) has a corresponding physical button on the module. Pressing a button will toggle the connected appliance/light ON or OFF for that specific channel.

7.2 App Control

After successful Wi-Fi pairing, you can control the module using the smart home app:

  • Open the app and select your device.
  • You will see individual controls for each of the four channels.
  • Tap the respective channel icon to turn the connected device ON or OFF.
  • The app may also offer features like scheduling, timers, and scene creation.

7.3 Voice Control (Google Home)

To use voice commands, ensure your smart home app is linked with your Google Home account.

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Go to "Set up device" > "Works with Google".
  3. Search for and link your smart home app account.
  4. Once linked, you can use voice commands such as:
    • "Hey Google, turn on [Device Name] L1"
    • "Hey Google, turn off [Device Name] L2"

Replace "[Device Name]" with the name you assigned to your switch module or individual channels in the smart home app.

7.4 RF Remote Control

If you have paired an RF remote, simply press the corresponding button on the remote to toggle the connected channel ON or OFF.

  • Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
