3. Strapping Process (3 Steps)

The electric strapping machine integrates tensioning, welding, and cutting into a simple three-step process:

  1. Insert Strapping: Pull up the handle of the machine and place the PP/PET strapping around the package, then feed both ends into the machine's strapping slot.
  2. Tighten: Press the tightening button. The machine will begin to tension the strap around the package to the set tension level.
  3. Weld and Cut: Once the desired tension is reached, press the welding switch. The machine will automatically weld the strap ends together and cut off any excess strapping simultaneously.

4. Tension Guidelines for Materials

Refer to the following guidelines for selecting the appropriate tension strength (1-10 gears) based on the material of your package:

  • Carton: 1-2 gears (0-760N)
  • Wooden board: 3-4 gears (760-1520N)
  • Aluminum: 5-6 gears (1520-2280N)
  • Stone: 7-8 gears (2280-3040N)
  • Steel: 8-10 gears (3040N-3800N)

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

  • Regularly clean the machine's exterior with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Ensure the strapping path and welding area are free from dust, debris, and strapping residue to maintain optimal performance.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

2. Battery Care

  • Store batteries in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • Avoid fully discharging batteries frequently to prolong their lifespan.
  • Charge batteries only with the provided charger.
  • If storing for extended periods, charge batteries to approximately 50% capacity.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your strapping machine, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Machine not powering on: Check if the battery is properly installed and fully charged.
  • Strapping not tensioning: Ensure the strapping is correctly inserted and the tension setting is appropriate for the material. Check for any obstructions in the strapping path.
  • Poor weld quality: Verify that the welding time is set correctly. Ensure the welding surfaces are clean and free of debris.
  • Strapping not cutting: Check for any obstructions in the cutting mechanism. Ensure the strapping is fully tensioned before attempting to cut.
