4. Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your VEVOR Belt Disc Sander. Refer to the video below for a visual guide.

1. Install the Sanding Belt Worktable: Attach the sanding belt worktable to the designated mounting points on the sander body using the provided screws and washers. Ensure it is securely fastened.
2. Install the Sanding Disc Worktable: Secure the sanding disc worktable to the disc side of the sander. Use the appropriate screws and knobs to attach it.
3. Insert the Angle Ruler (Miter Gauge): Place the miter gauge into the slot on the sanding disc worktable. This allows for precise angle adjustments.
4. Adjust the Sanding Belt Angle: The sanding belt arm can be adjusted from 0 to 90 degrees. Loosen the locking mechanism, set the desired angle, and re-tighten.
5. Adjust the Sanding Disc Worktable Angle: The sanding disc worktable can be tilted from 0 to 45 degrees. Loosen the locking knob, set the desired angle, and re-tighten.
6. Check Clearances: Ensure there is approximately 2mm clearance between the worktables and the sanding belt/disc to prevent interference during operation.
7. Adjust Sanding Belt Tracking: If the sanding belt is not centered, use the belt tracking adjustment knob to align it properly.

5. Operation

This sander is designed for efficient material removal and finishing on various materials. Always ensure the machine is stable and the workpiece is secured.

5.1 General Use

• Connect the sander to a suitable power outlet.
• Turn on the power switch.
• Apply gentle, even pressure when sanding. Avoid forcing the material against the abrasive.
• Move the workpiece consistently across the sanding surface to achieve a uniform finish and prevent gouging.

5.2 Adjustable Features

• Multi-Angle Sanding: The sanding belt can be adjusted from 0 to 90 degrees, allowing for both horizontal and vertical sanding. This provides flexibility for various workpiece shapes and contours.
• Adjustable Disc Worktable: The spacious disc worktable can tilt from 0 to 45 degrees, enabling precise angle sanding. Use the miter gauge for improved accuracy.
