2. What's in the Box
Verify that all components are present in the package:
- Booster (Base Station)
- 4 Probes
- Charging Cable
- User Manual (this document)
- Meat Temperature Setting Guide
3. Product Features
- Standalone Base Station: Features buttons, an LED display, and an alarm for independent operation without a smartphone.
- Precision & Fast Measurement: Each probe contains five internal sensors (±0.18°F accuracy, 32–221°F range) and one ambient sensor (±9°F accuracy, 32–1103°F range). Data is transmitted every second.
- Reliable Dual Connectivity: The base station connects via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi enables unlimited-range monitoring through the Meatmeet Cloud. Bluetooth range is up to 328 ft (probe to base) and 492 ft (base to smartphone) in open fields.
- Four Ultra-Thin Probes: Monitor up to four different items simultaneously. Probes have a 4.9 mm diameter with a teardrop-shaped tip for easy insertion and an ergonomic nut-cap handle for removal.
- Robust & Durable Probes: Constructed entirely from stainless steel, IP69 water-resistant, and withstand temperatures up to 1103°F.
- Extended Battery Life & Fast Charging: Up to 30 hours of use per probe and 36 hours for the base station on a single charge. A 2-minute charge provides 4.5 hours of cooking time.
- Absolute Data Security: Optional account registration. Bluetooth functions are fully accessible as a guest.

4. Setup
4.1 Initial Charging
- Connect the charging cable to the base station and a power source.
- Insert the probes into the charging slots on the base station. The probes and base station will begin charging.
- Allow sufficient time for a full charge before first use.
4.2 Powering On
Press and hold the power button on the base station to turn it on. The LED display will illuminate.
4.3 App Download and Connection
- Download the "Meatmeet" app from your smartphone's app store.
- Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Meatmeet Z Pro base station via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
- For Wi-Fi connectivity, ensure your base station is within range of your home Wi-Fi network.
5. Operation
5.1 Probe Insertion
Insert the probe into the thickest part of the meat, avoiding bones. Ensure the probe tip is fully embedded for accurate internal temperature readings. The ambient sensor should remain outside the food.

5.2 Using the Standalone Base
The base station allows you to monitor temperatures and set alarms directly:
- View Readings: The LED display shows real-time internal and ambient temperatures for each active probe.
- Set Target Temperatures: Use the 'SET' button and arrow keys on the base to adjust desired target temperatures for each probe.
- Alarms: The base station will sound an alarm when the target temperature is reached.

5.3 Using the Meatmeet App
The Meatmeet app provides enhanced control and monitoring capabilities:
- Real-time Monitoring: View current temperatures, target temperatures, and estimated cooking times for all probes.
- Custom Settings: Select meat types, desired doneness, and cooking equipment.
- Alerts: Receive notifications on your smartphone when target temperatures are reached or for other cooking events (e.g., 'time to flip').
- AI Cooking: Utilize the Meatmeet AI feature to recognize meat photos, set cooking preferences, and receive personalized recipes and cooking instructions.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Probes
The probes are IP69 water-resistant and can be safely cleaned by hand or in a dishwasher. Ensure all food residue is removed after each use to maintain hygiene and accuracy.

6.2 Cleaning the Base Station
Wipe the base station with a damp cloth. Do not submerge the base station in water or use abrasive cleaners.
7. Troubleshooting
- No Temperature Reading: Ensure the probe is fully inserted into the meat and the base station is powered on. Check if the probe is properly seated in its charging slot on the base.
- Poor Bluetooth Connection: Reduce the distance between the probe, base station, and your smartphone. Enclosed cooking appliances (e.g., ovens, smokers) can interfere with the signal; keep the probe-to-base distance under 16.4 ft in such environments.
- Wi-Fi Connectivity Issues: Verify your home Wi-Fi network is active and the base station is within range. Re-attempt the Wi-Fi setup process in the Meatmeet app.
- Inaccurate Readings: Ensure the probe is inserted correctly, avoiding bones. Calibrate the thermometer if necessary (refer to app instructions or Meatmeet support).
- Base Station Not Charging: Check the charging cable connection and ensure the power source is active.
