1. RF Signal Detection (Wireless Bugs/Cameras)

This mode detects wireless signals emitted by hidden cameras, audio bugs, and other RF transmitting devices.

  1. Activate RF Mode: Press the 'RF' button or navigate to the RF detection mode on the device. Extend the antenna.
  2. Scan Area: Slowly sweep the device across the area you wish to inspect. Pay close attention to areas where devices might be concealed, such as electrical outlets, smoke detectors, light fixtures, and furniture.
  3. Interpret Signals: The device will indicate signal strength through LED lights or an on-screen display. An increasing signal strength, accompanied by an audible alert or vibration, suggests proximity to a transmitting device.
  4. Pinpoint Source: Reduce the sensitivity if available and narrow down the search area until the signal is strongest, indicating the precise location of the device.

2. Hidden Camera Lens Detection (IR Laser Scan)

This mode uses a red LED array to illuminate camera lenses, making them visible through the device's viewfinder.

  1. Activate Camera Detection: Press the 'Camera' or 'IR' button to activate the red LED lights.
  2. Scan through Viewfinder: Look through the red filter viewfinder on the device. Slowly scan all surfaces in the room, including walls, ceilings, objects, and dark areas.
  3. Identify Lenses: Hidden camera lenses will appear as bright red dots or reflections when illuminated by the device's LEDs and viewed through the filter.

3. Magnetic Field Detection (GPS Trackers)

This mode is used to locate magnetic GPS trackers often attached to vehicles or metallic surfaces.

  1. Activate Magnetic Mode: Select the magnetic detection mode.
  2. Scan Surfaces: Move the device close to surfaces where a magnetic tracker might be attached, such as under a car, inside wheel wells, or on metal furniture.
  3. Respond to Alerts: The device will emit an audible alarm and/or vibrate when a magnetic field is detected, indicating the presence of a magnetic tracker.

4. Guard Mode (Anti-Touch Alarm)

This feature provides an additional layer of security by alerting you to unauthorized movement of your belongings.

  1. Activate Guard Mode: Place the device on or near an item you wish to protect. Activate the 'Guard Mode' or 'Anti-Touch Alarm' function.
  2. Movement Detection: If the device detects movement or tampering with the protected item, it will trigger an alarm (audible and/or visual).

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the device frequently. Recharge it regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
  • Software Updates: Check the manufacturer's website periodically for any available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and new features.

Troubleshooting

  • Device Not Powering On: Ensure the device is fully charged. If the issue persists, try a different charging cable or power adapter.
  • No Signal Detection: Make sure the antenna is fully extended in RF mode. Increase sensitivity if necessary. Ensure there are no strong interfering signals nearby.
  • False Alarms: Reduce the sensitivity setting. Move away from common electronic devices (Wi-Fi routers, mobile phones) that might emit RF signals.
  • Camera Lenses Not Visible: Ensure the room is sufficiently dark for the IR LEDs to be effective. Adjust your viewing angle through the viewfinder.
  • Magnetic Detection Issues: Ensure the device is in close proximity to the suspected magnetic device.
