3. Operating Instructions
The speedometer is configured with a single button for mode conversion and settings adjustment.
3.1 Button Functions
- Total/Subtotal Toggle: Short press the button to switch between ODO (Total mileage) and TRIP (Subtotal mileage).
- Subtotal Reset: While in TRIP interface, long press the button for 3 seconds to reset the trip meter.
- Metric/Imperial Switch: While in ODO interface, long press the button for 5 seconds to toggle units between MPH/KM/h and the corresponding mile/km unit.
3.2 Parameter Settings
To access advanced settings, follow these steps:
- Enter Setup Mode: Hold the button while powering on the device. The screen will display "CCC---". Input password "666". Short presses change the value, long presses move the cursor.
- Cylinder Number Adjustment: The display shows "Y2" in the speed area (Y2 indicates 2 cylinders, 16.6Hz = RPM signal frequency). Short press to modify, long press to navigate. The speedometer supports 2/4-cylinder engines (default is 1-cylinder setting).
- Oil Sensor Type: Display shows "1" in the gear position area (1 = two-wire oil level sensor). Short press to toggle type, long press to confirm.
- Speed Calibration: Display shows "F34.0" in the cumulative speed area (F = frequency coefficient, 34.0 = base value). The rule is: Value↑ → Actual speed↑, Value↓ → Actual speed↓. Short press adjusts the value, long press saves and reboots.
4. Display Features
The anti-glare LCD screen ensures clear visibility of data regardless of light intensity, offering an HD display both day and night.
