upHere Universal GPU Brace Support with ARGB Lighting (Model: CMGL7KC)

Instruction Manual

1. Introduction

The upHere Universal GPU Brace Support (Model CMGL7KC) is designed to provide stable and reliable support for your graphics card, preventing sag and ensuring long-term operational stability. Constructed from high-durability alloy, this brace is lightweight yet robust. It features adjustable positioning and integrated 5V ARGB lighting for aesthetic customization, compatible with various motherboard synchronization systems.

2. Package Contents

Please verify that all components are present in the package:

  • upHere GPU Brace Support (CMGL7KC)
  • Mounting Screws
  • User Manual

3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to install your upHere GPU Brace Support:

  1. Prepare the Mounting Plate: Locate three available PCI slots at the rear of your PC case. Secure the brace's mounting plate to the PCI slots using the provided screws. Ensure it is firmly attached.
  2. Adjust Position: Install your graphics card into its PCIe slot. Then, adjust the support bracket's position. The bracket allows for horizontal sliding and vertical rotation to precisely match your GPU's size and position. This adjustment helps avoid interference with cooling fans.
  3. Secure the GPU: Gently position the support bracket's clip against the bottom or back edge of your graphics card. The contact surface features a soft silicone pad to prevent scratches and provide stable support.

Note:

  • This product requires three PCI slots for installation. Please confirm your PC case has sufficient clearance.
  • The support is compatible with ATX, MicroATX, and ITX cases, and various GPU configurations.

4. Operating ARGB Lighting

The upHere CMGL7KC features integrated 5V ARGB LED lighting for aesthetic enhancement. It supports synchronization with various motherboard lighting systems.

  • Motherboard Synchronization: Connect the 5V 3-pin ARGB cable from the brace to a compatible 5V 3-pin ARGB header on your motherboard. This allows synchronization with systems like ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, ASRock Polychrome, and Biostar RGB.
  • Daisy-Chain Capability: The brace can be daisy-chained with other 5V 3-pin ARGB devices to unify your PC's lighting effects.

Important Note:

  • This product is compatible only with 5V 3-pin ARGB headers. It is not compatible with 12V 4-pin RGB headers. Connecting to an incompatible header may cause damage to the device or motherboard.

5. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your GPU brace support:

  • Cleaning: Periodically clean the brace with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Connection Check: Occasionally check that all connections (mounting screws, ARGB cable) are secure.
  • Position Verification: Ensure the support bracket remains in its correct position, providing adequate support to the GPU.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your upHere GPU Brace Support, refer to the following:

  • GPU Still Sags:
    • Ensure the support bracket is positioned directly under the heaviest part of the GPU.
    • Verify that the bracket's height is adjusted correctly to provide firm, but not excessive, upward pressure.
    • Check that the mounting plate is securely fastened to the PCI slots.
  • ARGB Lighting Not Working/Syncing:
    • Confirm the ARGB cable is correctly connected to a 5V 3-pin ARGB header on your motherboard.
    • Ensure your motherboard's ARGB software is installed and configured correctly.
    • Verify that the ARGB header on your motherboard is enabled in the BIOS/UEFI settings.
    • Check for any loose connections in the daisy-chain if multiple ARGB devices are used.
  • Bracket Interferes with Fans/Components:
    • Utilize the horizontal sliding and vertical rotation adjustments to find an optimal position that clears all other components.
