STRICH Piano Keyboard Stand & Bench Set

1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the assembly, operation, and maintenance of your STRICH Piano Keyboard Stand (SKT-02S) and Piano Bench (SPB-M10) set. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper setup and safe operation. Retain this manual for future reference.

3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Keyboard Stand Assembly (SKT-02S)

1. Unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, flat surface.
2. Attach the lockable wheels or non-slip foot pads to the bottom of the stand legs. Ensure they are securely tightened.
3. Connect the two Z-shaped frames using the central crossbar. Secure with the provided hardware.
4. Insert the adjustable keyboard support arms into the top sections of the Z-frames.
5. Attach the adjustable keyboard clamps to the support arms.
6. Apply the sponge padding strips to the top surfaces of the support arms to protect your keyboard.
7. Attach the headphone hook to a convenient location on the stand.

3.2 Piano Bench Assembly (SPB-M10)

1. Unfold the X-style bench frame.
2. Align the padded seat with the top of the frame and secure it using the provided screws.
3. Adjust the bench height to your desired setting using the adjustment pins.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Adjusting Keyboard Stand Height and Width

The keyboard stand features a pull-type knob mechanism for quick adjustments.

1. To adjust the height: Loosen the knob on the vertical support, pull it out, and slide the support to the desired height. Release the knob to lock it into place. Ensure both sides are adjusted to the same height for stability.
2. To adjust the width: Loosen the knob on the horizontal crossbar, pull it out, and extend or retract the crossbar to fit your keyboard's length. Release the knob to lock it into place.

4.2 Securing Your Keyboard

• Place your keyboard onto the stand's support arms.
• Adjust the keyboard clamps to firmly hold the keyboard in place, preventing it from sliding.
• Utilize the safety straps by wrapping them around your keyboard and the stand's support arms, then securing them to prevent accidental dislodgement.

4.3 Using Foot Pads and Wheels

• Lockable Wheels: If using wheels, ensure they are locked when the stand is in position to prevent unwanted movement. Unlock them to easily reposition the stand.
• Non-slip Foot Pads: If using foot pads, ensure they are adjusted to provide maximum contact with the floor for stability.

4.4 Adjusting Piano Bench Height

The piano bench offers three height settings.

1. Locate the adjustment pins on the bench legs.
2. Pull out the pins and adjust the bench to one of the three preset heights.
3. Ensure the pins are fully re-inserted and locked into place before sitting on the bench.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe down the metal surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish. For the padded bench, use a mild soap solution and a soft cloth, then wipe dry.
• Inspection: Periodically check all screws, bolts, and adjustment knobs to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary.
• Storage: When not in use, the stand and bench can be folded for compact storage. Store in a dry environment away from extreme temperatures.

6. Troubleshooting

• Stand Instability: Ensure all adjustment knobs are fully tightened. Verify that the stand is placed on a level surface. If using wheels, ensure they are locked. If using foot pads, ensure they are evenly adjusted.
• Difficulty Adjusting Height/Width: Ensure the pull-type knob is fully disengaged before attempting to slide the components. Do not force adjustments.
• Keyboard Sliding: Confirm that the keyboard clamps are properly positioned and tightened. Ensure safety straps are used.
