2.1 Precautions
- DO NOT USE the device on any area where you may want hair to grow back. Hair removal by IPL can cause increased hair growth in some individuals, particularly females of Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and South Asian heritage treated on the face and neck.
- DO NOT USE if you have a known sensitivity to sunlight (photosensitivity) or are taking medication that causes photosensitivity (e.g., certain antibiotics like tetracycline, NSAIDs like ibuprofen, or retinoids like Accutane and/or topical retinoids like Retin A). Always check medication instructions for photosensitivity side effects. Using the device on photosensitive skin could result in skin damage, including blisters and swelling.

- On beard/facial hair for men.

2.4 Skin and Hair Suitability
The Braun Silk·Expert Mini is effective on a range of skin tones and hair colors. It is most effective on lighter to medium skin tones with naturally dark blonde, brown, or black hair. It is not suitable for very dark skin tones or very light hair colors (white, grey, light blonde, or red hair) as these lack sufficient melanin for the IPL to be effective.

- Stamp Mode: For smaller or sensitive areas like the bikini line or underarms, place the device firmly on the skin, press and release the flash button, then lift and move to the next area.
