Setup
1. Charging the Excavator Battery
- Locate the USB-C charging port on the excavator.
- Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the excavator.
- Plug the other end of the USB-C cable into a standard USB charging power supply (not included), such as a wall adapter or power bank.
- The charging indicator light (if present) will illuminate during charging and turn off or change color when fully charged.
- Charging typically takes approximately 60-90 minutes for a full charge, providing up to 20 minutes of operating time.
2. Remote Control Battery Installation
The remote control requires 2x AAA batteries (not included).
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 2x AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3. Pairing the Remote Control
- Ensure the excavator is fully charged and turned off.
- Install fresh batteries in the remote control.
- Turn on the excavator using its power switch.
- Turn on the remote control by pressing its power button.
- The remote control and excavator should automatically pair. A successful connection is usually indicated by a solid light on both devices.
- If pairing fails, turn both devices off and repeat the process.
Operating Instructions
1. Remote Control Functions
Familiarize yourself with the remote control layout:
- Left Joystick: Controls forward/backward movement and left/right turning of the excavator tracks.
- Right Joystick: Controls the movement of the excavator arm and shovel (up/down, scoop/dump).
- Power Button (ⓘ): Turns the remote control on/off.
- Speed Buttons (100%, 30%): Adjusts the excavator's driving speed.
- Shovel/Arm Excavation Loop Buttons (↑, ↓): Initiates an automatic excavation loop for the arm and shovel.
2. Driving the Excavator
- Forward/Backward: Push the left joystick forward to move the excavator forward, pull it backward to move backward.
- Turning: Push the left joystick left or right to turn the excavator. For spot turns, push one side forward and the other backward.
3. Excavator Arm and Shovel Control
- Arm Up/Down: Move the right joystick up or down to raise or lower the main excavator arm.
- Shovel Scoop/Dump: Move the right joystick left or right to control the shovel's scooping and dumping action.
- Automatic Excavation: Press the ↑ or ↓ buttons to initiate a pre-programmed excavation sequence.
4. Speed Settings
The excavator offers two speed settings for different operating needs:
- 100% Speed: For faster driving and covering larger distances.
- 30% Speed: For precise maneuvering in tight spaces or for delicate operations. Select this speed for better control when performing detailed tasks.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the excavator and remote control after each use. Avoid using water or chemical cleaners.
- Storage: Store the excavator and remote control in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: Fully charge the excavator's battery before storing for extended periods. Remove batteries from the remote control if not used for a long time.
- Inspection: Periodically check for any loose parts, damaged cables, or worn components. Do not operate if damage is present.
