4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your AV Access iDock B10 KVM Switch:

  1. Connect Monitors: Use an HDMI cable and a DisplayPort cable to connect your two monitors to the HDMI Out1 and DP Out2 ports on the iDock B10.
  2. Connect Laptop: Use the USB-C to USB-C cable (included) to connect your laptop to the USB-C In port on the iDock B10.
  3. Connect Desktop PC:
    • Use an HDMI cable and a DisplayPort cable to connect your desktop PC to the HDMI In1 and DP In2 ports on the iDock B10.
    • Use the USB-A to USB-C cable (included) to connect the USB-A end to your desktop PC and the USB-C end to the USB Host port on the iDock B10.
  4. LAN Connection: Get an Ethernet cable (not included) and connect it to your router via the LAN port on the iDock B10. This provides wired network connection to both your laptop and your PC.
  5. Connect Wired Remote (Optional): If you prefer a remote button control, attach the wired remote controller (EXB01) to the CTL port on the rear panel. Place the button wherever it is convenient for you.
  6. Connect Peripherals: Connect all necessary USB peripherals (keyboard, mouse, external drives, etc.) to the available USB ports on the front panel of the iDock B10. Connect headphones/speakers to the 3.5mm audio jack.
  7. Power On: Using the power adapter (included), plug it into the DC 20V Power Port on the iDock B10. Press the power button on the front panel to turn on the device.

5. Operating Instructions

Switching Between Computers:

You can switch between your connected laptop and desktop PC using one of two methods:

  • Top Panel Button: Press the source switching button located on the front panel of the iDock B10. The LED indicators will show which computer is currently active.
  • Wired Remote Controller: Press the button on the wired remote controller (EXB01) to switch between sources.

The iDock B10 features super-fast switching with automatic PC wake-up function and EDID stimulation, allowing for quick transitions between your PC sources.

Note: macOS does not support extended dual screens (mirror only) with this model. Model iDock M10 supports dual-screen extended mode for MacBook.

    • Ensure the Ethernet cable is securely connected to the LAN port on the iDock B10 and your router.
