Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your pressure washer.
- Nozzle Cleaning: Regularly clean the quick-connect nozzles to prevent blockages. Use the provided cleaning pin to clear any debris from the nozzle orifice.
- Inlet Filter: Inspect and clean the inlet filter periodically to ensure proper water flow and prevent debris from entering the pump.
- Hose and Connections: Check all hoses and connections for leaks or damage before and after each use. Replace any worn or damaged parts immediately.
- Winter Storage: If storing in freezing temperatures, ensure all water is drained from the pump and hoses to prevent damage. Consider using a pump protector.
- General Cleaning: Wipe down the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth after use. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the waterproof touchscreen.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your pressure washer, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:
- No Power: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Check the circuit breaker.
- Motor Runs but No Water Pressure: Verify the water supply is fully open and the garden hose is not kinked. Check the inlet filter for blockages. Ensure all air is purged from the system by squeezing the trigger before turning on the unit.
- Low Pressure: Check for proper nozzle selection. A wider spray pattern will result in lower perceived pressure. Ensure the water inlet filter is clean.
- Water Leaks: Tighten all hose connections. Check O-rings for wear or damage and replace if necessary.
- Unit Shuts Off Frequently: The Total Stop System (TSS) may be activating. This is normal if the trigger is not pressed for a period. If it shuts off during continuous use, check for overheating or low water supply.
