3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Camera Installation

1. Choose Mounting Method: The camera offers two mounting options for the headrest:
   • Strap Fixation: Use the provided Velcro straps to secure the camera directly to the headrest. This method is suitable for headrests without exposed posts or for a more flush fit.
   • Bracket Fixation: Attach the camera to the headrest posts using the included bracket. This allows for greater adjustability in angle and position.
2. Secure the Camera:
   • For strap fixation, thread the Velcro straps through the camera's designated slots and around the headrest, ensuring a tight and stable fit.
   • For bracket fixation, attach the camera to the ball head of the bracket, then secure the bracket to the headrest posts. Adjust the camera to the desired shooting angle and tighten the nut to fix its position.
3. Connect Camera Power: Plug the USB-C end of the power cable into the camera and the USB-A end into a suitable USB power source (e.g., a USB port in your car or a portable charger).

3.2 Adapter Connection & CarPlay Pairing

1. Plug in the Receiver: Insert the Wireless CarPlay Adapter (receiver) into your vehicle's USB communication port. Use the provided USB-A to USB-C adapter if your car has a USB-C port.
2. Enable Bluetooth & Wi-Fi: On your iPhone, ensure both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are turned on.
3. Pair with the Product:
   • On your car's display, select the CarPlay option.
   • Follow the on-screen prompts to pair your iPhone via Bluetooth to the OTTOCAST adapter (e.g., "CARR-xxxx").
