Maintenance and Care
- Water Resistance: This watch is rated for 10 ATM (100 meters) water resistance. It is suitable for swimming and snorkeling, but not for diving. Do not operate buttons underwater.
- Cleaning: Clean the watch case and strap with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Temperature: Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) for extended periods.
- Impact: While shock-resistant, avoid strong impacts or dropping the watch.
- Battery Replacement: When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, the battery may need replacement. This should be performed by a qualified watch technician.
Troubleshooting
- Display is blank or dim: The battery may be low or depleted. Replace the battery.
- Backlight not working: If the display is otherwise functional, the backlight component might be faulty, or the battery is too low to power the light. Consider battery replacement.
- Time is incorrect: Re-set the time following the "Setting the Time and Date" instructions. Ensure the correct AM/PM setting is selected if applicable.
- Buttons are unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, though not specified for this model). If unresponsive, a reset might be needed (consult a technician), or the battery is critically low.
- Watch not working at all: This typically indicates a completely depleted battery or an internal malfunction. Professional service is recommended.
