1. Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your DJI Mini 4K drone. 3. Product Overview

3.1 Drone Components

3.2 Remote Controller

4. Setup

4.1 Charging Batteries

Before first use, fully charge the Intelligent Flight Battery and the remote controller. Use the provided USB-C data cable and a compatible USB charger (not included) to charge. The battery level indicators on both the drone and controller will show charging status.

4.2 Installing Propellers

Attach the propellers to the motors according to the instructions in the quick start guide. Ensure propellers with markings are installed on motors with corresponding markings, and unmarked propellers on unmarked motors. Use the provided screwdriver for secure installation.

4.3 Preparing the Drone

1. Unfold the front arms first, then the rear arms.
2. Remove the gimbal protector from the camera.
3. Insert the Intelligent Flight Battery into the battery compartment until it clicks securely.

4.4 Preparing the Remote Controller

1. Unfold the mobile device holder and antenna.
2. Attach your smartphone to the controller using the appropriate RC cable.
3. Download and install the DJI Fly app on your smartphone.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

To power on the drone or remote controller, press the power button once, then press and hold it for two seconds. Repeat the process to power off.

5.2 Linking the Drone and Remote Controller

If the drone and remote controller are not linked, follow the instructions in the DJI Fly app to establish a connection. Ensure both devices are powered on.

5.3 Pre-Flight Checklist

• Ensure batteries are fully charged.
• Propellers are correctly installed and free from damage.
• Gimbal protector is removed.
• MicroSD card is inserted (if recording video/photos).
• Fly in an open area, away from obstacles, people, and restricted airspace.

5.4 Basic Flight Controls

Control the drone using the joysticks on the remote controller. Refer to the DJI Fly app for detailed control diagrams and customizable settings. The app provides a live view from the drone's camera and essential flight data.

5.5 Smart Flight Modes

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

6.2 Propeller Inspection and Replacement

Inspect propellers before each flight for cracks, bends, or wear. Replace damaged propellers immediately using the provided screwdriver and spare screws. Ensure correct propeller types are installed on corresponding motors.

6.3 Battery Care

• Store batteries in a cool, dry place.
• Do not overcharge or over-discharge batteries.
• If storing for extended periods, discharge batteries to approximately 50-60% capacity.

6.4 Gimbal Protection

Always attach the gimbal protector when transporting or storing the drone to prevent damage to the camera and gimbal mechanism.
