Setup
Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover at the base of the lantern.
- Twist or slide the cover to open it.
- Insert three (3) AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment. The NEBO Poppy Lantern includes 3 AA batteries.
- Replace the battery compartment cover securely.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off and Mode Selection
- Spot Light Mode: Press the side-positioned ON/OFF button to activate the spot light.
- Lantern Mode: Slide the top section of the lantern upwards to reveal the 360-degree COB LED lantern. The lantern will illuminate automatically.
- Switching Modes: To switch from spot light to lantern, slide the top section up. To switch from lantern to spot light, collapse the top section and press the ON/OFF button.
- Dimming: The NEBO Poppy Lantern features adjustable brightness. While the light is on, press and hold the ON/OFF button to dim the light to your desired level. Release the button to set the brightness. The power memory setting will recall the last brightness level used.
- Power Off: Press the ON/OFF button until the light turns off, or fully collapse the lantern if in lantern mode.
