6.2 Engine Maintenance
Follow the engine manufacturer's recommendations for oil changes, air filter cleaning/replacement, and spark plug inspection. Regular engine maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.
6.3 General Cleaning
After each use, clean sawdust and debris from the sawmill, especially around the blade, track, and engine components. This prevents buildup that could affect performance or cause wear.
7. Troubleshooting
- Engine Fails to Start: Check fuel level, spark plug, and ensure the choke is correctly set. Verify the electric start battery is charged.
- Uneven Cuts: Inspect the blade for sharpness and proper tension. Ensure the log is securely clamped and the track system is level and free of debris.
- Excessive Vibration: Check for loose components, damaged blade, or improper blade tension.
- Blade Overheating: Ensure the cooling box is filled and the lubricant is flowing to the blade. Reduce feed rate if necessary.
