1. Product Compatibility

This Dexnor Keyboard Case (Model DK015) is designed for specific iPad models. Please verify your iPad's model number on the back of your device to ensure compatibility.

• iPad Air 11-inch: M3 (2025) models A3266, A3267, A3270; M2 (2024) models A2902, A2903, A2904.
• iPad Pro 11-inch: 4th Gen (2022) models A2435, A2759, A2761, A2762; 3rd Gen (2021) models A2377, A2301, A2459, A2460; 2nd Gen (2020) models A2228, A2068, A2231; 1st Gen (2018) models A1980, A2013, A1934, A1979.

Note: This case is NOT compatible with iPad Pro 11 M4/M5 (2024/2025) or iPad (A16) 11th/10th Gen. iPad and Apple Pencil are not included.

2. Setup Instructions

2.1 Package Contents

Before proceeding, ensure all items are present in the package:

2.2 Attaching Your iPad

The keyboard case features an ultra-strong magnetic attachment system. Align your compatible iPad with the back cover of the case. The magnets will securely hold the iPad in place, providing a stable platform for use.

2.3 Bluetooth Pairing

To connect the keyboard to your iPad:

1. Open the keyboard case. The keyboard will automatically power on.
2. On your iPad, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
3. Ensure Bluetooth is turned On.
4. In the 'Other Devices' list, locate and tap 'Dexnor Keyboard'.
5. A pairing request will appear. Tap Pair to confirm the connection.
6. The keyboard will show as 'Connected' under 'My Devices'.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Typing Experience

The keyboard features perfectly spaced, responsive scissor-switch keys for a comfortable typing experience. A full row of shortcut keys provides quick access to functions such as screen brightness, volume control, and media playback.

3.2 Multi-touch Trackpad

The integrated multi-touch trackpad allows for smooth and precise navigation, supporting various multi-finger gestures for enhanced productivity. To disable the trackpad and prevent accidental input (palm rejection), press the FN key and the Spacebar simultaneously.

3.3 Backlight Functionality

The keyboard features a single-color backlight with three adjustable brightness levels, enabling comfortable typing in low-light conditions. The backlight automatically sleeps after 45 seconds of inactivity to conserve power.

3.4 Power Saving Features

The keyboard case incorporates an upgraded power-saving design. Opening the case automatically powers on the keyboard and wakes your iPad. Closing the case turns off the keyboard and puts your iPad to sleep. The keyboard enters sleep mode after 30 minutes of inactivity.

4. Battery and Charging

The keyboard is equipped with a 650mAh lithium polymer battery for extended use.

• Standby Time: Up to 720 hours.
• Working Time (without backlight): Up to 200 hours.
• Working Time (brightest backlight): Up to 10 hours.
• Charging Time: Approximately 3 hours.

Use the provided USB cable to charge the keyboard. Connect one end to the keyboard's charging port and the other end to a standard USB power adapter (not included).

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning and Care

To maintain the keyboard case, gently wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the surface. Ensure the case is dry before reattaching your iPad.

5.2 Pencil Holder

The case includes a built-in pencil holder to keep your Apple Pencil (not included) secure and easily accessible. The magnetic clasp ensures the case remains securely closed when not in use, protecting both your iPad and pencil.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Keyboard Not Connecting via Bluetooth

• Ensure the keyboard is powered on by opening the case.
• Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your iPad (Settings > Bluetooth).
• Check if the keyboard is listed under 'My Devices' and shows 'Connected'. If not, try re-pairing by selecting 'Dexnor Keyboard' from 'Other Devices'.
• Ensure the keyboard battery has sufficient charge.
• Restart your iPad and try the pairing process again.

6.2 Trackpad Not Responding or Malfunctioning

• Ensure the trackpad is not disabled. Press FN + Spacebar to toggle its status.
• Clean the trackpad surface to remove any dirt or debris.
• Ensure your iPad's software is up to date.
• Disconnect and reconnect the Bluetooth connection.

6.3 Keys Not Responding

• Check the keyboard's battery level.
• Ensure the Bluetooth connection is stable.
• Restart the keyboard by closing and reopening the case.
• If specific keys are not working, inspect for physical obstructions.
