5. Setup Instructions

5.1. Humidifier Setup

  1. Placement: Place the humidifier on a flat, stable surface. It can be placed inside or outside your grow tent.
  2. Fill Water Tank: Remove the top cover and fill the water tank with clean, distilled water. Do not exceed the MAX fill line. Replace the cover securely.
  3. Attach Hoses: Connect the Y-shaped vapor outlet to the humidifier's mist port. Attach the extendable hoses to the Y-adapter and direct them as needed within your grow environment.
  4. Position Sensor: Place the temperature and humidity sensor in the desired monitoring area within your grow space. Ensure it is not directly in the mist path.

  5. Power Connection: Plug the humidifier's power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

5.2. Grow Light Setup

  1. Mounting: Use the provided hanging kit to suspend the SF2000Pro Grow Light securely from the ceiling of your grow tent or structure. Ensure it is level and at the appropriate height above your plants.
  2. Connect Dimmer: Connect the dimmer knob/controller to the designated port on the grow light.
  3. Power Connection: Plug the grow light's power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Humidifier Operation

  • Power On/Off: Press the Power Button to turn the humidifier on or off.
  • Set Humidity: Press the Humidity Button to adjust the desired relative humidity (RH) from 35% to 95% in 5% increments. The humidifier will automatically turn on/off to maintain this level.
  • Adjust Mist Level: Press the Mist Button to cycle through 4 adjustable mist levels.
  • Set Timer: Press the Timer Button to set an operating timer from 1 to 24 hours.
  • Low Water Indicator: The Low Water Icon will flash for 15 seconds with 3 beeps, then the unit will automatically shut down when water is low. Refill the tank to resume operation.

6.2. Grow Light Operation

  • Power On/Off: Use the power button on the dimmer controller to turn the light on or off.
  • Adjust Intensity: Rotate the Dimmer Knob to adjust the light intensity from 0% (off) to 100% (maximum).
  • Daisy Chain Control: If multiple lights are connected via daisy chain, the dimmer on the first light will control all connected units.

6.3. App & Remote Control

The humidifier is compatible with the GGS Controller or AC5/AC10 Power Strip for remote control via a mobile application. Follow the instructions provided with your GGS Controller or AC5/AC10 Power Strip to connect the humidifier. Once connected, you can:

  • Adjust humidity levels remotely.
  • Check current humidity and temperature readings.
  • Switch operating modes.
  • Set timers for operation.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your equipment.

7.1. Humidifier Cleaning

  1. Disconnect Power: Always unplug the humidifier before cleaning.
  2. Empty Water Tank: Drain any remaining water from the tank and base.
  3. Clean Tank: Wipe the inside of the water tank with a soft cloth. For mineral buildup, use a solution of white vinegar and water (1:1 ratio), let it soak for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
  4. Clean Mist Outlet/Hoses: Ensure mist outlets and hoses are free from blockages. Clean with a soft brush if necessary.
  5. Dry Components: Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling and using.

7.2. Grow Light Care

  • Dust Removal: Periodically wipe the LED board and housing with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Ensure the light is off and cool before cleaning.
  • Avoid Liquids: Do not spray water or cleaning solutions directly onto the grow light.
  • Inspect Cables: Regularly check power cords and connections for any signs of damage.
