5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Camera

Before initial use, fully charge the camera using the provided USB cable and a 5V/1A or 5V/2A power adapter. The charging indicator light will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes several hours.

5.2 App Installation

Download the official CINMOORE app from your smartphone's app store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store). Search for "CINMOORE" and install the application.

5.3 Camera Pairing

  1. Open the CINMOORE app and create an account or log in.
  2. Tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your camera model.
  4. Power on the camera. The camera will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED light.
  5. Connect your smartphone to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The camera does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
  6. Scan the QR code displayed on your phone screen with the camera lens. Hold the phone approximately 15-20 cm (6-8 inches) from the camera.
  7. Once connected, the camera will confirm with an audible prompt, and the LED light will turn solid.

5.4 Mounting the Camera

The camera offers flexible installation options due to its magnetic base and wire-free design.

  • Magnetic Mounting: Attach the camera directly to any metallic surface using its strong magnetic base. Ensure the surface is clean and provides a secure hold.
  • Screw Mounting: For non-metallic surfaces or enhanced security, use the provided mounting screws and wall anchors.
    1. Choose a suitable location for optimal viewing angle and Wi-Fi signal strength.
    2. Mark the positions for drilling holes using the mounting base as a template.
    3. Drill holes and insert wall anchors if mounting on drywall or masonry.
    4. Secure the magnetic mounting base to the wall with screws.
    5. Attach the camera to the magnetic base and adjust the angle as needed.

6. Operating the Camera

6.1 Live View

Open the CINMOORE app and select your camera from the device list to access the live video feed. You can view real-time footage from anywhere with an internet connection.

6.2 Two-Way Audio

While in live view, tap the microphone icon in the app to speak through the camera's built-in speaker. Tap the speaker icon to listen to audio from the camera's microphone. This feature allows for real-time communication.

6.3 Motion Detection & Alerts

The camera features free AI person detection to reduce false alarms. Configure detection settings in the app:

  • Sensitivity: Adjust the motion detection sensitivity to suit your environment.
  • Detection Zones: Set specific areas within the camera's view for motion detection.
  • Alerts: Enable push notifications to receive instant alerts on your smartphone when motion or a person is detected. The camera can also activate a built-in siren and spotlight upon detection.
