3. Setup

3.1. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the epilator. Connect the provided USB cable to the charging port on the device and to a suitable USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter). The charging indicator light will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 8 hours and provides about 30 minutes of continuous use.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Preparing Your Skin

For optimal results and reduced discomfort, it is recommended to prepare your skin before epilation. Applying a hot towel to the area to be epilated can help open pores and soften hairs, making removal easier. Ensure your skin is clean and dry before use.

4.2. Epilation Process

1. Turn on the epilator using the power switch. The built-in LED light will illuminate.
2. Hold the epilator at a 90-degree angle to your skin. This ensures maximum contact between the tweezers and the hair roots for efficient removal.
3. Gently glide the epilator against the direction of hair growth. Stretch the skin taut with your free hand to minimize discomfort and improve hair capture.
4. Move the epilator slowly and steadily over the skin. Avoid pressing too hard.
5. For sensitive areas, use the device on a lower speed setting if available.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and hygiene of your epilator.

1. Ensure the device is turned off and disconnected from any power source before cleaning.
2. Push up the protective cover of the epilator head.
3. Remove the protective cover.
4. Use the included cleaning brush to remove any residual hair from the tweezers.
5. The epilator head is water-releasable and can be rinsed under tap water. Do not rinse the main body of the device.
6. Allow the epilator head to air dry completely before reattaching the protective cover and storing the device.

6. Troubleshooting

• Device not turning on: Ensure the epilator is fully charged. If it's a new device, it may require an initial charge.
• Hair not being removed effectively:
  • Ensure the epilator is held at a 90-degree angle to the skin.
  • Glide the device slowly against the direction of hair growth.
  • Make sure the epilator head is clean and free of hair buildup.
  • Hair might be too short; the epilator is most effective on hairs 0.5 mm or longer.
• Experiencing discomfort/pain:
  • Apply a hot towel to the skin before epilation to open pores.
  • Stretch the skin taut during use.
  • Use the device on a lower speed setting if available.
  • Initial uses may cause more discomfort; skin typically adapts over time.
• Skin irritation/redness: This is common after epilation. Apply a soothing lotion or aloe vera gel. If irritation persists, discontinue use.
