6. Setup and Wiring Instructions
Proper wiring is crucial for the correct operation and longevity of your digital current meter. Follow these steps carefully:
- Identify Wires: The device comes with four wires:
- Red wire (+): Power supply positive.
- Black wire (-): Power supply negative.
- Red wire (VIN+): Measurement signal positive.
- Black wire (VIN-): Measurement signal negative.
- Connect Power Supply: Connect the Red wire (+) to the positive terminal of a DC power supply within the 3.5-30V range. Connect the Black wire (-) directly to the negative terminal of the power supply (VIN-).
- Connect Measurement Signal: Connect the Red wire (VIN+) to the positive point of the circuit you wish to measure. Connect the Black wire (VIN-) to the negative point of the circuit you wish to measure. Note that the measurement signal negative (VIN-) is typically common with the power supply negative.
- Installation: The meter requires an opening size of 45mm x 26mm for panel mounting. Ensure sufficient space for the external dimensions of 48mm x 29mm x 22mm.

7. Operating Instructions
Once properly wired and powered, the HanOaki Digital Current Meter will automatically display the measured current or voltage on its 5-digit LED screen.
- Reading the Display: The 0.36-inch LED display shows the current or voltage value with high precision. The decimal point position will adjust automatically based on the measured range.
- Real-Time Monitoring: The meter updates its readings more than three times per second, providing near real-time data for dynamic electrical systems.
- Automatic Adaptation: The voltage measurement range (0-4.3000V to 33.000V) adapts automatically.

8. Maintenance
The HanOaki Digital Current Meter is designed for durability and requires minimal maintenance.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the display and housing. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the plastic or display.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the meter in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Inspection: Periodically check the wiring connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion or damage.
9. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your digital current meter, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Display:
- Check if the power supply (DC 3.5-30V) is correctly connected to the red (+) and black (-) power wires.
- Ensure the power supply is active and providing the correct voltage.
- Verify that the power wires are not damaged or short-circuited.
- Incorrect Reading / Flashing Display:
- Confirm that the measurement signal wires (red VIN+ and black VIN-) are correctly connected to the circuit being measured.
- Ensure the measured current or voltage is within the specified range (0-3.0000A for current, 0-33.000V for voltage).
- Check for loose connections or interference from other electrical components.
- Display Shows 'HHHHH' or 'LLLLL':
- This typically indicates an over-range or under-range condition. Ensure the measured value is within the meter's operational limits.
