Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Print Head
To ensure optimal print quality, periodically clean the print head. Use a soft, dry cloth or a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Avoid touching the print head directly with your fingers.
2. Replacing Tape Cartridges
When the tape runs out or you wish to change tape types, open the tape compartment cover, remove the old cartridge, and insert a new one as described in the Setup section.
3. Understanding Laminated Labels
VolenGo laminated tapes are designed for durability, resisting water, oil, abrasion, and extreme temperatures without fading. The 1-inch blank space at the start of labels is due to the laminate technology, as there is a distance between the print head and the exit port.
VolenGo laminated labels feature multiple layers for enhanced durability against various elements.
The initial 1-inch blank space on labels is a result of the laminate printing technology.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your VolenGo H1100 Label Maker, please refer to the following common solutions:
- No Power: Ensure batteries are correctly inserted and charged, or the USB-C cable is securely connected to a working power source.
- Poor Print Quality: Check if the tape cartridge is installed correctly. Clean the print head as described in the Maintenance section. Ensure you are using genuine VolenGo tapes.
- Tape Jam: Open the tape compartment, carefully remove any jammed tape, and reinsert the cartridge.
- Blank Space at Start of Label: This is normal for laminated tapes due to the printing mechanism. Adjust margin settings if you wish to minimize it.
