Operating

Siren Modes

The siren operates in conjunction with your alarm host and paired accessories. When an alarm is triggered by a connected sensor or the alarm host, the siren will activate.

  • Alarm Mode: When an alarm is triggered, the siren will emit a loud 100 dB sound and flash its red strobe light.
  • Disarm Mode: The siren will remain silent and inactive.

App Control

If your alarm host is compatible with the Tuya Smart app, you can control the siren and receive notifications directly on your smartphone.

  1. Download and install the "Tuya Smart" app from your smartphone's app store.
  2. Follow the app's instructions to add your alarm host and connected siren.
  3. Use the app to arm/disarm the system, receive real-time alerts, and manage settings.

Maintenance

Battery Care

  • The siren is primarily powered by its solar panel. Ensure the solar panel is clean and free from obstructions to maximize charging efficiency.
  • The internal Li-Polymer battery acts as a backup. If the siren is installed in a shaded area or during prolonged periods of low sunlight, occasional USB-C charging may be required.
  • Monitor the battery status via your alarm host or connected app, if available.

Cleaning

  • Regularly clean the exterior of the siren with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ensure the solar panel is kept clean for optimal performance.
