2. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to connect your QCOQ Air Tracker Tag to your iOS device using the Apple Find My app.

2.1 Initial Activation

Upon receiving your Air Tracker Tag, ensure it is powered on. Some tags may have a protective tab that needs to be removed or a button to press for initial activation. For this model, press the power button for 2 seconds until you hear a beep.

2.2 Pairing with Apple Find My App

1. Ensure your iOS device (iPhone, iPad, or Mac) has Bluetooth and network functions enabled.
2. Open the "Find My" app on your iOS device.
3. Navigate to the "Items" tab.

3.1 Locating Nearby Items (Play Sound)

When your Air Tracker Tag is within Bluetooth range (approximately 60m in open areas, 30m when obstructed), you can use the "Play Sound" feature in the Find My app to emit a loud 100dB alert tone. This helps you quickly pinpoint the item's location if it's hidden nearby.

3.2 Left-Behind Reminders

To prevent leaving important items behind, enable the "Notify When Left Behind" feature in the Find My app. If your device moves beyond a set distance or time from your phone, Find My will automatically trigger alerts. If still disconnected after a timeout, it sends a final "Lost Reminder" with the last known location.

To enable: Bind device → tap its name → scroll to Notifications → turn on "Notify When Left Behind". You can also set "Do Not Disturb" zones to avoid alerts in specific locations.

3.3 Lost Mode and Sharing Location

1. Rotate the stainless steel cover counter-clockwise to open.
2. Insert a new CR2032 battery with the "+" side facing up.
3. Align the cover and press gently until seated.
