4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the MP3 player. Connect the device to a computer's USB port or a wall adapter (not included) using the provided USB cable. The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status. A full charge typically takes 2-3 hours.

4.2 Inserting the Micro SD Card

The device comes with a 16GB Micro SD card pre-installed or included separately. To insert or replace the card, locate the Micro SD card slot on the side of the player. Gently push the card into the slot until it clicks into place. To remove, push the card again until it springs out.

4.3 Connecting Earphones

Plug the provided earphones into the 3.5mm audio jack on the device. Ensure the plug is fully inserted for optimal sound quality.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

To power on the device, slide the power switch (usually located on the side or bottom) to the "ON" position. To power off, slide it to the "OFF" position.

From the main menu, select "Music". You can browse your music by artist, album, genre, or all songs. Supported audio formats include MP3, WMA, OGG, APE, FLAC, WAV, AAC-LC, and ACELP.

5.4 Video Playback

Select "Video" from the main menu. The player supports AMV and AVI video formats. Ensure videos are in a compatible format for smooth playback.

5.5 FM Radio

Access "Radio" from the main menu. The FM radio supports frequencies from 87.5MHz to 108MHz and can save up to 30 channels. Ensure earphones are connected as they act as the antenna.

5.6 Voice Recorder

Select "Record" to use the built-in voice recorder. Recordings are saved in WAV or MP3 format.

5.7 E-Book Reader

Choose "EBook" to read text files. The device supports TXT format e-books.

5.8 Photo Viewer

Select "Pic" to view images. Supported picture formats include JPEG, BMP, and GIF.

Use the "Folder" option to browse files on the Micro SD card. The "Tools" and "Set" options provide access to various system settings, including time, date, display, and other device configurations.

Device does not power on:
Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a power source using the USB cable and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again. Check the power switch is in the "ON" position.
No sound or low volume:
Check if the earphones are properly connected. Adjust the volume using the "VOL" button. Ensure the audio files are not corrupted or in an unsupported format.
Cannot play media files:
Verify that the media files are in a supported format (e.g., MP3 for music, AMV/AVI for video, JPEG/BMP/GIF for pictures, TXT for e-books). Ensure the Micro SD card is properly inserted and not corrupted.
Navigation buttons are unresponsive:
Try restarting the device by powering it off and then on again. If the issue persists, ensure the device is not in a locked mode (if applicable, refer to settings for screen lock options).
Device freezes or crashes:
Press and hold the power button for several seconds to force a shutdown, then restart the device. If frequent, consider reformatting the Micro SD card (backing up data first) or checking for firmware updates (if available from the manufacturer).
