1. Introduction and Overview

The DOTSTAR Fully Sealed Waterproof Collar Receiver is an advanced 2-in-1 system designed for effective pet management. It combines a GPS wireless fence mode to create a safe boundary for your pet and a remote dog training mode to correct unwanted behaviors. This device is suitable for training up to three dogs simultaneously, offering sound, vibration, and static stimulation options.

2. Safety Information

• This device is intended for use with dogs only. Do not use on aggressive dogs or dogs under 6 months of age.
• Ensure the collar fits properly. A loose collar may not deliver consistent stimulation, while a collar that is too tight can cause skin irritation or pressure necrosis.
• Do not leave the collar on your dog for more than 12 consecutive hours.
• Regularly check your dog's neck for any signs of irritation or sores. If irritation occurs, discontinue use until the skin heals.
• Use static stimulation levels responsibly. Start with the lowest level and increase only as necessary to get your dog's attention.
• Keep the device out of reach of children.

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Device

Before initial use, fully charge both the remote transmitter and the collar receiver.

1. Connect the wireless charger to the power adapter using the USB cable.
2. Place the remote transmitter onto the wireless charger with the charging mark facing down. A full charge takes approximately 5 hours and provides about 26 hours of continuous use.
3. Place the collar receiver onto the wireless charger with the charging mark facing down. A full charge takes approximately 5 hours and provides about 12 hours of continuous use.

5.2 Attaching and Fitting the Collar

1. Attach the appropriate length conductive poles to the receiver based on your dog's coat length. Ensure good skin contact.
2. Place the collar around your dog's neck, ensuring the receiver is positioned centrally under the chin or on the side of the neck.
3. Adjust the strap so that it is snug but not too tight. You should be able to fit one or two fingers comfortably between the strap and your dog's neck.
4. Trim any excess strap if necessary.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 GPS Wireless Fence Mode

This mode creates an invisible boundary using GPS technology to keep your dog within a designated safe area.

1. Turn on the remote transmitter and the collar receiver.
2. Select the GPS fence mode on the remote.
3. Set the desired radius for the safe area using the '+' and '-' buttons on the remote. The radius can be adjusted from 50 to 990 feet.
4. The system will establish a circular boundary around the current location of the remote transmitter.
5. If your dog wearing the receiver collar moves outside this set boundary, the collar will issue a warning (sound, vibration, or static stimulation, depending on settings).
6. The warning will cease immediately once the dog returns to the safe zone.

6.2 Remote Dog Training Mode

This mode allows you to train your dog with sound, vibration, or static stimulation within a 1,000-foot range.

1. Turn on the remote transmitter and the collar receiver.
2. Select the remote training mode on the remote.
3. Choose the desired correction type: sound, vibration, or static stimulation.
4. For static stimulation, adjust the intensity level from 1 to 19 using the dedicated buttons on the remote. Start with the lowest effective level.
5. When your dog exhibits an unwanted behavior, press the corresponding button on the remote to deliver the chosen correction.

• Cleaning: Wipe the collar and receiver with a damp cloth regularly. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
• Contact Points: Periodically check the conductive poles for dirt or corrosion. Clean them as needed to ensure proper contact with your dog's skin.
• Waterproof Feature: The collar receiver is 100% waterproof, allowing your dog to swim or play in the rain without damage to the device. However, ensure the charging port area is dry before charging.
