1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your Auertech Portable Washer and Dryer Combo. Please read all instructions carefully before use and retain this manual for future reference.

The Auertech Portable Washer and Dryer Combo is designed for compact living spaces such as apartments, dorms, RVs, and small homes. It features a twin-tub washing machine with separate wash and spin functions, and a compact clothes dryer with multiple drying modes.

2. Safety Instructions

• Always ensure the unit is placed on a stable, level surface.
• Do not overload the washer or dryer to prevent damage and ensure optimal performance.
• Keep children and pets away from the appliance during operation.
• Ensure all hoses are securely connected to prevent leaks.
• Unplug the appliance from the power outlet when not in use or before cleaning.
• Do not operate the dryer without the lint filter properly installed.
• Avoid drying items that have been soiled with flammable substances.

3. Setup

Before first use, unpack all components and ensure no parts are missing or damaged. Place the unit in a suitable location with access to a water source and drainage.

3.1. Placement

Position the washer and dryer combo on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for ventilation and access to controls. The compact design allows for versatile positioning, including freestanding, stacking, or under-counter placement.

3.2. Water Connection

Connect the included faucet adapter to your water source. Attach the water inlet hose to the adapter and the designated inlet on the washing machine. Ensure connections are tight to prevent leaks.

3.3. Drainage

The washing machine includes a built-in drain pump and an extended drain hose. Position the drain hose to direct wastewater into a sink, bathtub, or other suitable drainage point. Ensure the hose is not kinked or blocked.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Washing Machine Operation

1. Load Laundry: Open the washer lid and place clothes loosely into the wash tub. Do not exceed the 18 lbs washing capacity.
2. Add Water & Detergent: Connect the water inlet hose to a faucet and fill the wash tub with water to the desired level. Add an appropriate amount of detergent directly to the tub.
3. Set Wash Timer: Turn the 'WASH TIMER' knob to select the desired wash duration (0-15 minutes).
4. Select Wash Mode: Use the 'WASH SELECTOR' knob to choose between 'NORMAL' for regular loads or 'GENTLE' for delicate items.
5. Drain Water: Once the wash cycle is complete, turn the 'WASH SELECTOR' knob to 'DRAIN' to empty the water from the tub.
6. Rinse Cycle: Refill the tub with clean water and set the wash timer for a rinse cycle. Drain the water after rinsing.

4.2. Spin Dryer Operation

1. Load Clothes: Transfer washed clothes from the wash tub to the spin tub. Do not exceed the 10 lbs spin capacity.
2. Secure Clothes: Place the plastic cover on top of the clothes in the spin tub to prevent items from flying out during spinning.
3. Set Spin Timer: Turn the 'SPIN TIMER' knob to select the desired spin duration (0-5 minutes).
4. Remove Clothes: Once the spin cycle is complete, remove the clothes. They will be damp and ready for air drying or further drying in the compact dryer.

4.3. Compact Dryer Operation

The compact dryer features an efficient 850W heating system and five drying modes.

1. Load Clothes: Open the dryer door and place damp clothes into the stainless steel drum. Do not exceed the 10 lbs capacity.
2. Select Drying Mode: Use the control knob to choose one of the five drying modes:
• Cool (0-20 mins): For refreshing items without heat.
• Anti-Wrinkle (20-60 mins): To reduce wrinkles.
• Standard (60-120 mins): For typical loads.
• Heavy (120-200 mins): For thicker fabrics or larger loads.
• Refresh: A short cycle to freshen clothes.
3. Start Dryer: Close the door and start the drying cycle. The dryer will reach a maximum temperature of 149°F.
4. Remove Clothes: Once the cycle is complete, remove dry clothes promptly to minimize wrinkles.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Lint Filter Cleaning

The washing machine features a removable lint filter. Regularly clean the lint filter to maintain washing efficiency and prevent blockages. For the dryer, clean the lint filter after every load to ensure optimal drying performance and prevent fire hazards.

5.2. Exterior Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of both units with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.

5.3. Storage

If storing the unit for an extended period, ensure both the washer and dryer tubs are completely dry. Disconnect all hoses and store them properly. Store the unit in a dry, cool place.

6. Troubleshooting

• Unit not starting: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged in and the power outlet is functional. Check if the lid is properly closed.
• Water not draining: Check if the drain hose is kinked, blocked, or positioned too high. Ensure the 'WASH SELECTOR' is set to 'DRAIN'.
• Excessive vibration/noise: Ensure the unit is on a level surface. Redistribute the laundry evenly inside the tub to balance the load.
• Poor washing/drying performance: Do not overload the tubs. Use the correct amount of detergent. Clean the lint filter regularly.
• Water leakage: Check all hose connections for tightness. Ensure the drain hose is properly positioned and not overflowing.
