1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Information

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury.

  • Always check the pressure release device for clogging before use.
  • Do not use this pressure cooker for frying with oil.
  • Do not tamper with any safety systems.

3. Setup and First Use

3.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all packaging materials and accessories. Inspect the rice cooker for any damage. Keep packaging materials away from children.

3.2 Initial Cleaning

Before first use, wash the inner pot, inner lid, steam plate, rice paddle, and measuring cup with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth.

3.3 Placement

Place the rice cooker on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.

3.4 Setting the Clock

Upon plugging in the unit, the display will show the current time. To adjust the time, refer to the detailed instructions in the 'Operating Instructions' section under 'Setting Time and Date'.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Rice Cooking (High Pressure Mode)

  1. Measure the desired amount of rice using the provided measuring cup. Rinse the rice thoroughly until the water runs clear.
  2. Place the rinsed rice into the inner pot. Add water according to the water level markings inside the inner pot for the type of rice being cooked.
  3. Place the inner pot into the main unit. Ensure the inner pot is seated correctly.
  4. Close the lid securely. Rotate the Twin Pressure dial to the HIGH PRESSURE position.
  5. Select your desired rice cooking mode (e.g., White Rice, Multigrain) using the control panel.
  6. Press the START button to begin cooking. The display will show the cooking progress.

4.2 Non-Pressure Cooking Mode

For softer, fluffier rice or other dishes that do not require high pressure, rotate the Twin Pressure dial to the NON PRESSURE position. Follow steps 1-3 from Basic Rice Cooking, then select the appropriate non-pressure menu option (e.g., Quinoa, Porridge) and press START.

4.3 Open Cooking Mode

The Open Cooking Mode allows you to add ingredients during the cooking process. This mode is available only when the Twin Pressure dial is set to NON PRESSURE. You can lift the lid to stir or add ingredients like vegetables or seasonings, then close the lid to continue cooking.

4.4 Quick Mode

For fast cooking of white rice, select the Quick Mode. This feature can cook a single serving of rice in approximately 12 minutes. Ensure the Twin Pressure dial is set to HIGH PRESSURE for optimal results with Quick Mode.

5.2 Silent Steam Valve and Water Tray

The Silent Steam Valve should be wiped clean regularly to prevent blockages. The wide removable water tray collects condensation and should be emptied and cleaned after each use to maintain hygiene and prevent odors.

Wipe the exterior of the rice cooker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
